Goss And Aide "Linked" To Poker Parties Linked, In Turn, To Duke Cunningham and Hookers
No solid evidence, the article says, that Goss actually attended, except that he shares a fondness for poker and cigars. And whether there or not, there's no evidence he did anything more criminal than call a raise with king-nine offsuit.
That is fair, though, I think. It's a reasonable guess, given the sudden resignation. Not that he did anything wrong, necessarily, but that he was there, at least sometimes, and that causes political problems.
I note, however, the media has yet to investiage the stronger links between Mary McCarthy, Richard Clarke, anti-semitic conspiracy peddler Roy McGovern, and the rest of the neoliberal peace-in-our-time brigades in the CIA.
And I wonder if the liberal cabal of leakers, determined to continue to fight for their right to oppose the government they're supposed to be serving, helped the Justice Department along with their inquiries. Counterattack?
