Moussaoui Got Off Because He Had "Limited Knowledge" of 9/11 Plot
Errrmmm... okay. How much knowledge does it actually require to get put to death for a crime you participated in? The son-of-a-bitch knew they were flying airplanes into buildings; isn't that enough?
Apparently not.
A lot of liberal trolls are over here claiming that, as a matter of law, Moussaoui couldn't be put to death because he didn't actually kill anyone.
Ummm... really? Is that why the judge certified this as a death-eligible case and we had a death-penalty-phase?
He was involved in a conspiracy to commit mass-murder and took steps to commit that crime. Under standard jurisprudence -- here, as in Germany, German-Nazi-troll -- he is responsible for crimes committed by his confederates, including murder.
Allah notes that the media is full-spin mode defending the jury's shameless decision, noting how awful supermax prison is, etc.
You know what else is awful? Execution. Like, spending a year or two on death row (nastier than supermax prison) and then being brought to the death chamber where they fill your heart with poison.
