Ohio Democrat Has Innovative Campaign Plank: Death Penalty For Gays
Hate the sin but kill the sinner:
Merrill Keiser, Jr., is a trucker by trade, and he's hoping his next journey takes him all the way to Washington. His goal is a seat in the US Senate....
The Fremont man is causing some controversy with one of his beliefs. He tells News 11 homosexuality should be a felony, punishable by death. "Just like we have laws against murder, we have laws against stealing, we have laws against taking drugs -- we should have laws against immoral conduct," Keiser says.
Between the last post and this one, I guess I'm showing my formerly liberal stripes, but I have to say this guy seems to have issues with homosexuality your normal contented heterosexual just doesn't.
Yeah, I hate that bit of baiting by the left, "If you're against any part of the gay agenda, it's because you must be gay!" Childish, reductivist, and strangely self-hating (gays calling their opponents homos in a derogatory fashion? Always odd.)
Still, I think there's something to the idea that if you spend, let us say, an inordinate amount of time dwelling on something, and react in an inexplicably emotional and extreme manner, well... methinks the lady doth protest too much, as the man says.
There's a difference between considering gay sex (or any sex outside of wedlock) inherently sinful due to a bona-fide religious belief and taking the Fred Phelps route of thinking about gay sex all the damn time.
There are gay porn actors who don't think about gay sex as much as Fred Phelps, and they're getting a steady paycheck from the gig.
