Community and the Monkeysphere
WonderKraut samples an essay on community, using monkeys as an example. Everything's better with monkeys. I think any philospher who really wants to change the world should use monkeys to illustrate his points.
Coincentally, I set the size of one's "community" at 130; the monkeysphere essay sets it at 150. So I guess that must be in the ballpark.
If you like the basic idea of the Monkeysphere, you can read the whole essay here at Pointless Waste of Time.
