Dawn of the Dead
Saw the remake last night. Scared me to death.
The dictionary definition of "zombie" speaks of the dead come back to life, will-less, in trancelike states. Automatons. In the old movies, they moved like Bob Shrums. Slow, lifeless, but inexorable.
Not these new guys. Look at the one up on the left. He's gearing up for a sprint to the barbecue.
The bastards move like Renaldo Nehemiah.
And when they eat Judy Woodruff. . .
Hoo boy. Very scary.
