NATO Diplomats: Biden Was "Embarrassing," His Verbal Slip-Up Destroyed All of Our World-Changing Accomplishments

Before that: The House is subpoenaing Biden's inner circles to ask about them covering up and "aggressively stage-managing" the demented Fake President.

The GOP-led House Oversight Committee subpoenaed three senior White House aides Wednesday, demanding they sit for depositions regarding President Biden's health, according to letters obtained by Axios.

Why it matters: The subpoenas signal Republicans' desire to investigate whether some of Biden's closest aides essentially have hidden the 81-year-old president's true condition, in a probe that could drag through the Nov. 5 election.

Since Biden's weak performance at the June 27 debate ignited questions about his candidacy, some Democrats -- including administration officials -- have been bracing for potential congressional probes into his mental fitness, and what aides know about it.

As Ed Morrissey notes, the House previously subpoenaed these Insurrectionists to find out what they knew about Biden holding on to classified documents he never should have even possessed, let alone retained. But the White House blocked their testimony.

Boy, it sure would be nice to threaten them with Congress' power of Inherent Contempt, wouldn't it? Woke GOPer Tom McClintock doesn't think so.

Megyn Kelly pointed out that the arrogant Biden inner circle, including his incompetent-yet-arrogant DEI liar Latrina John-Pissoir, are suddenly acting a little meek and apologetic, and distancing themselves from obvious lies. Kelly pointed out that one of Biden's spokesmen, I forget who, stopped saying that Biden was competent to hold office, and instead merely repeated what Biden's doctor said -- his doctor says he's competent.

That's distancing yourself from the lie: You're not saying it yourself. You're just quoting this other guy who said it.

She says that all of Biden's staff is now facing what Trump's staff did for seven years: the knowledge that everything they do and say will be scrutinized, and possibly will have criminal consequences.

On to the NATO flop:

During last night's Big Boy Press Conference, one of Biden's "proofs" of his capacity to do the job was his claim that the NATO conference went perfectly, better than any other NATO conference ever, and that no one -- no one! -- would say otherwise.

Biden's new rhetorical ploy is to challenge person to find just one person who says, for example, that his drunken sailor spending caused inflation, or one person who says his NATO conference went anything less than impeccably, or one single poll which says he can't win.

Obviously it is very easy to find many, many people who say that, or polls that say that. But Biden has this aggressive old-man "tough guy" bluster, and reporters are pussies and cowards, so when Biden demands they name a single person who says otherwise, they meekly go silent, implicitly agreeing with his absurd claim.

So, is it true? Did the NATO conference go well? Did Biden not make a single mistake (apart from the Putin/Zelenskyy gaffe)? Is there no one who says that Biden didn't impress all and sundry in attendance?

No, of course not. NATO diplomats are complaining about how embarrassing Biden was at the event, and how his gaffes undid whatever "work" this convention of slap-asses and fuckabouts think they accomplished.

Joe Biden's gaffes have ruined months of hard work and undermined the Nato summit, diplomatic sources told The Telegraph.

On stage, Emmanuel Macron and Olaf Scholz defended the president over a slip of the tongue in which he called Volodymyr Zelensky "President Putin".

The US leader went on to call Kamala Harris "vice-president Trump".

But roaming the corridors of the summit, aides were more frank in their verdict of the president's performance.

"It was awful," an official said, describing standing in the crowd as events unfurled.

The consensus amongst diplomats and officials who spoke to The Telegraph, and were granted anonymity to speak more freely, was that it took less than a minute to change the narrative of an entire summit.

The sources realised they would be forced to read about the gaffe on tomorrow's front pages instead of stories of their successes.

To be honest, I think that's a pretty small error. I mean, we literally all say the wrong name all the time. Chris Matthews did it in that "prediction" video I linked earlier. Everybody does it, constantly.

It just goes to show you how absolutely empty and pointless these meetings are that they can't say what great "work" they accomplished, or how it could all be undone by something as minor as a verbal slip-up. If it was anything important, anything other than "We have successfully negotiated to deliver a joint statement which restates our previous joint statements," that could not be undone by a verbal slip-up.

If they got Russia-Ukraine negotiations restarted, for example, that would be big news that could not be knocked off the front page by Biden's speak-o.

But nevertheless -- it is not true that no one can find anyone who has any criticisms of Biden's performance at this NATO grabass-and-reacharound fest.
