Shooter Exchanged Gunfire With Border Patrol Agents Before Barricading Himself Inside School, But Was US Citizen

The monster who did this is also dead. He was a student at a local high school.

Fourteen students and a teacher are dead after a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, according to Gov. Greg Abbott.

The 18-year-old suspect, a student at Uvalde High School, is also dead, he said.

"He shot and killed horrifically and incomprehensibly 14 students and killed a teacher," Abbott said during an unrelated press briefing.

The suspect also allegedly shot his grandmother before entering the school and again opening fire, Abbott said. He did not say anything further about her condition.

Abbott said the shooter had a handgun and also possibly a rifle.

Awful. Just absolutely horrifying.

Multiple responsible people in these schools should be armed.

The shooter's name is, I'm told, Salvador Romas, so: White Hispanic Alert.

And we're going to have to crack down on that Disinformation that led him to this.

Abbott says he's a US citizen. Not sure why he would be in a gun battle with the border patrol. Maybe he was running drugs.

There will be no presidential visits to the school.

BTW, why do they delete the social media for these guys? This is newsworthy. All deleting this stuff does is give the corrupt corporate leftwing media an unearned priority in exploiting this stuff. They get access to it and can drip it out for profit.

Delete it eventually -- you don't want these guys to have online shrines to them -- but in the period of newsworthiness, let people research these animals.

Update: The killer was a murder suspect and there was a BOLO for his truck. The shootout with border patrol might have just been a chance encounter, with them spotting the truck they had the BOLO for.

I imagine he was a murder suspect in his grandmother's murder but who knows, maybe he killed someone else.
