It's not just CIA agent Elissa Slotkin -- Adulterer and Senator Chris Murphy is also previewing his schemes for a left-wing authoritarian putsch.

Democrats want to imprison their political enemies to deter young conservatives.

They also want to regulate social media so people are less likely to support candidates they don't like.

Chris Murphy:

"Regulating the internet...should be an important government project."

"if people are feeling more powerful and less lonely, then they are going to be less likely to fall for a bullsht demagogue like Donald Trump."

From the so-called "anti-authoritarian" party.

The DSA is also plotting a full-on coup.

DataRepublican (small r) @DataRepublican

The past few days, I got my hands on thousands of new transcripts and hundreds of recordings, thanks to leads from @SKDoubleDub33 and @iamlisalogan.

You've heard that the DSA is proposing structural reforms to America, including abolishing the Senate and imposing term limits.

What you not have heard is - there is an operational plan to put it all into action. If the Democratic Party sweeps 2026, then DSA will become "foot soldiers" in constant clashes with the administration to cross a "red line" or invoke a "doomsday scenario" - meaning, President Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, probably sometime in 2027.

Then, a lot of coordinated responses kick off, including delegitimizing the federal government itself and handing that legitimacy to Democratic governors. 2028 then becomes a vote on whether to keep America governance as-is or to burn it all down to appease a "young and brown" demographic.

The mysterious group who's been coordinating 50501, Indivisible, and coordinating the NoKings protests is called "United Democracy Alliance" and their intellectual leader is Erica Chenoweth who came up with the 3.5% rule of nonviolent regime change.

Patience. I know I've hyped this more than anything else. It's genuinely the biggest discovery I've had. This is an enormous archive. This is only the beginning.

Major lethal fire at a Canadian military base in Alberta. Supposedly, it was due to a flaw in a shoulder-launched rocket being fired, not due to terrorism.

Supposedly. I have the same level of confidence in the Socialist Canadian government that you have.

TRAGEDY IN WAINWRIGHT, AB

A major incident occurred at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Wainwright, Alberta, on 17 Oct 2026.

A fire ignited in the training area around 4:00 p.m. Driven by high winds of up to 100 km/h, it spread rapidly beyond the base. Military and civilian emergency services are responding, and the fire is being held.

The Canadian Armed Forces confirmed that the incident resulted in fatalities and injuries. Edmonton hospitals were issued a "Code Orange" (mass casualty) alert. Reports from the ground indicate there could be north of 100 casualties.

Unconfirmed reports from multiple sources indicate that a gas line or well exploded after being struck by a shoulder-fired high-explosive (HE) round (similar to an RPG) after it "dolphined." This is a once-in-a-lifetime malfunction in which the projectile follows an unstable, wavy, up-and-down path, like a dolphin leaping out of the water, sending it far off course.

The explosion reportedly flattened multiple facilities where troops were training. The resulting fire was swept by high winds through the bivouac site where the majority of troops were camped.

Video 1: Devastation caused by the fire.
Video 2: More than a dozen CAF personnel parachuted into the Wainwright Health Centre to assist with the fire and medical response.

My thoughts are with the families, and with my son, who recently joined the CAF as a Combat Engineer. These are some of the very best young people Canada has to offer. Everyone who puts on a military uniform accepts unlimited liability on behalf of the rest of us. Even during peacetime, the risks they face are very real.

Via Ed Morrissey, CBS "journalists" are complaining (anonymously, of course) that Mean Jewess Bari Weiss is forcing them to cover the actual news and report on Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed's terror ties.

The scandal of it! You're not supposed to report negatively on Democrats, ever, but especially not before a major midterm election!

Control of the US Senate for the next two years could come down to how much the news media chooses to focus in the final weeks of the midterms on a tweet sent years ago by the younger half-sister of Michigan's Democratic Senate candidate.

In 2012, Abdul El-Sayed's half-sister, Eman Abdelhadi, described "an amazing talk with my mom about her activism in the Muslim Brotherhood during the early '70s." Republicans and members of the media have since pressed El-Sayed, an American of Egyptian descent, to answer whether he has ties to the Islamist movement, which was founded in Egypt and whose offshoots include US-designated terrorist groups.

The subject is of particular interest at CBS News, where Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss has repeatedly encouraged the network's journalists to dedicate serious resources to finding a potential link.

In recent weeks, Weiss has personally advocated for CBS News journalists to pursue numerous story angles related to El-Sayed's supposed sympathy towards the Muslim Brotherhood, and was directly involved in a controversial story about his previous posts comparing the COVID-19 death toll to 9/11. She has discussed the topic on editorial calls, and tasked CBS News' investigative unit with combing through El-Sayed's background for a potential link to the organization. The network's investigative team is set to publish a story in the coming days on the subject, though two people familiar with the reporting said that as of Sunday afternoon, it was unclear whether the story will include new revelations.

Notice what this leftwing propagandist does there -- he admits, tacitly, that CBS has thusfar refused to report on this at all, then complains that CBS's first article on the subject may fail to contain "new revelations."

If CBS hasn't reported on it, all revelations are "new revelations" as far as their audience is concerned.

But you know, Fox reported on it and doesn't that suffice?

A year into a new regime at CBS News, some of the daily controversies over Weiss' management style and relations with the White House that defined the first few months have eased. But the politics of the Middle East and the conflict in Israel and Gaza -- and its echoes in American domestic politics -- remain red-hot inside the company, as a network leader with strong views on the region's dynamics has attempted to shape its coverage of stories touching its spiraling conflicts. Rank-and-file staff have clashed with editors installed by Weiss over Gaza, leaking embarrassing internal network discussions about coverage -- such as last week, when the media-focused news startup Status and Guardian media reporter Jeremy Barr reported on a clash between CBS News' London bureau and foreign editor Shayndi Raice.

Weiss has taken a particularly hands-on approach to the Michigan Senate race, where campaign rhetoric has revolved around El-Sayed's Muslim faith, and whether he can win over Jewish voters in the state. The Hollywood Reporter reported last month that Weiss faced criticism internally for "overseeing an article that critics say falsely insinuated Michigan's Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed had ties to the September 11 attacks."

"Critics say she insinuated X" with the actual statement suppressed so that the readers cannot see if she actually insinuated X.

I wonder if these critics might, perhaps, be agitators for the Red-Green alliance? We don't know. The identities "critics" are helpfully suppressed.

S-tier journalizming, guys.

See Ed Morrissey's argument for a rundown on the El-Sayed family's many links to terrorism.

Thanks to Charlie Brown's Dildo, this from the sidebar. I wanted to highlight it.

Israel War Room @IsraelWarRoom

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

#Accurate.

Speaking of the Red-Green alliance, Tim Walz refuses to take responsibility for the massive welfare piracy he deliberately permitted but says he Akshually is taking responsiblity by not running again.

Except, of course, he knows he'd lose, so this is no accountability. This is just sparing himself a necessary and justified ass-beating.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz lamented both how the fraud scandal in his state was handled and how it has emboldened Republicans.

Republicans were "emboldened" to "seize and pounce" on what will turn out to be the greatest piracy of American wealth in all of history.

Gov. Tim Walz took responsibility for mishandling fraud in Minnesota even as he took multiple parting shots at the Trump administration.

During Friday's episode of "The Lever" podcast, Walz said that he lacked the authority to independently stop payments to suspected fraudsters and needed legislative action to obtain that authority, but nonetheless acknowledged that his administration should have acted sooner.

"The law wouldn't let me act but I should have acted sooner." This is "taking responsibility" for a Democrat conspirator with foreign pirates.

"The amount of fraud, like I said, $1 is too much, but the amount that has been prosecuted, and people put in jail, is less than what [President Donald Trump] is asking for his ballroom," Walz said.

It's a little more than $1 dude. It's over $1 billion.

Way to set attempt to mass-suggest the public into thinking this is just a tiny bit of fraud that "emboldened Republicans" are seizing and pouncing on.

When pressed further by the host about whether he was worried that the fraud allegations would continue to be damaging, Walz replied, "Yes. They undermine faith in government."

Oh no, anything but that.

Here is "taking responsibility" again, stating that he is not running for re-election only because Republicans will pounce and seize on his failure to act (which is completely excusable, because the law would not let him act).

He added, "It's one of the reasons I accept responsibility for that. I think, you know, I had decided, probably after the murder of Melissa Hortman, certainly before Christmas, that we weren't going to run again because I said, 'They're going to use this to attack others and to attack the system.'"

"Every state has this. Most states have far more than this," he added. "The Trump administration decided to focus on the perfect storm for them," Walz said.

"'Blame Somalis.' 'Blame the guy who ran against me.' 'Blame this prosperous state that pays more money in than not and let's punish them.' But that doesn't excuse that. Should we do more? Yes. Were there things that we should have closed back doors sooner? Yes. I mean, it happened. Now we know other states are learning from us."

He later said, "The problem with fraud and corruption, both of them undermine faith in government, and that plays right into Republicans' hands. Do they like fraud? I would argue they do because it undermines federal. It makes a reason to cut these programs. They hate these programs that feed children. They hate these programs that, you know, work with autistic children. So, man, what a gift to them. 'See, they don't work. It's tax dollars. Let's close them down.'"

I will take responsibility by claiming the fraud is actually Republicans' fault because they like fraud.

The head of the Oversight Project says that Ilhan Omar may be cooked.

The federal raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, D.C., home prompted warnings Wednesday from a conservative watchdog leader that more revelations could be coming, as the Minnesota Democrat faces separate investigations involving her immigration records and financial disclosures.

Oversight Project President Mike Howell, whose group pushed to strip a $1.031 million earmark backed by Omar, says the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) search raises broader questions about congressional accountability and what investigators may uncover next.

...

"I think there's other shoes that are going to drop here," Howell told Fox News Digital.

"That's why I think the Democrats really just couldn't resist the temptation to jump out of this before they saw any evidence and just circle the wagons [around Omar]," he said.

"I will say it appears they're walking that back a little bit. It has shifted from just a wholesale defense of Omar to a non-substantive defense, talking about, 'well, this stuff was old,' or 'this is political since she's Ilhan Omar.'"

...

Howell pointed to what he viewed as a unique combination of circumstances -- an HSI investigation under the Trump administration, a warrant authorized by a federal judge in heavily Democratic Washington, D.C., and the proximity of the election -- as reasons he believes investigators may have substantial evidence.

"They probably got the goods on her," Howell said. "You don't get a federal judge to sign off on something like this in Washington, D.C., of all places, unless there is something that is rather convincing."

Jonathan Fahey, a former acting ICE director and federal prosecutor in the neighboring Eastern District of Virginia, said the timing of the HSI search raises questions about whether investigators are examining more recent documents tied to longstanding immigration allegations.

"I surmise that what they may be looking for is newer things that were used with what they believe is false information," Fahey told Fox News Digital, referring to the immigration investigation.

Evidence of more recent false claims and schemes to continue to lie about her immigration status could be used to prove an ongoing conspiracy that defeats the statute of limitations. I think the statute of limitations runs from the date of the most recent act in furtherance of a conspiracy.

I still incline towards the Nothing Will Happen Guy, but I have some very limited, guarded hopes that maybe Nothing Will Happen Guy will be proven wrong.

Ugly layabout house husband who married an heiress Ro Khanna is super-psyched to promote the Red-Green Riots in Europe:

Ro Khanna @RoKhanna

From the high schools of France to the streets of Madrid to the universities of Tirana, young people are telling their governments the same thing: in an age of massive wealth inequality, they want a future they can believe in.

In France, students and teachers are asking for safe schools, enough teachers and smaller classes.

In Spain, for affordable rent and housing.

In Albania, for good jobs and an end to corruption.

@JDVance says this is what happens when a nation lets in too many immigrants from the global south.

He is not just morally wrong, but misreading the moment.

The is what happens when nations let wealth and power accumulate in the hands of a few.

This is what happens when young people lose hope in their future.

In America, let us listen to our young.

We need an economic and political transformation.

America's Next New Deal.

He's running for president, but America will never elect someone this homely and grasping.

Melissa Chen @MsMelChen

Let me translate what Ro Khanna's pitch is:

Remember the 2020 BLM riots' death toll, firebombed buildings, looted stores and subsequent crime waves and business flight in multiple cities?

Yeah, we miss that!

Let's double down with higher taxes on productive capital, more redistribution, and reward youth protests so we can fund the cycle and invite more of it!

It's time to ban all funding to colleges and universities until we can find out what the hell's going on.

A former Rutgers University law student is suing the school for allegedly violating his First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and expression.

According to the Cleveland Jewish News, Yiorgos Maravelias had been arrested at a May 2024 pro-Israel counter-protest for, he claims, hanging "anti-Hamas fliers" near an "anti-Israel encampment."

Maravelias, a disabled veteran, said he got involved in "campus activism" shortly after Hamas' October 2023 assault against Israel, Fox News reported.

He said he had set up a table next to a "vocal minority" of anti-Israel Rutgers law students to share his views about Hamas -- that they're "rapists, monsters, [and] savages."

Maravelias' complaint alleges Rutgers Law administrators "disfavored" his political views and "perceiv[ed] him as Jewish" (he's not), and notes Rutgers is "home to the controversial Center for Security, Race and Rights," headed by Law Professor Sahar Aziz, whom Maravelias accuses of "ripping [down] his fliers from a bulletin board."

Maravelias alleges Aziz erroneously told him that hanging his fliers "was against school policy" -- despite there being anti-Israel fliers hanging at the location.

For a long time, Science claimed there were no green stars. Or no stars that look green. Stars emit many different colors of light. Those that emit more red light appear slightly reddish. (I mean, most stars look plain white but apparently you can see a slight red tinge on "red" stars.) Same with blue stars.

Green stars supposedly don't exist because green light sits between red light and blue light. Even if a star's dominant color is green, it's pumping out a fair amount of red light and blue light. And what green light, red light, and blue light make when they combine is white light.

So there are "green" stars. It's just that they look completely white and you'd never call them green for real.

At least, that was the Old Science.

The new Science says maybe there are spooky green stars after all.

That's possible because scientists have discovered that white dwarfs, the type of stellar remnants sun-sized stars leave behind when they die, can actually take on a range of colors including green if they snack on their rocky planets like cosmic cannibals.

...

"Most stars, including most white dwarfs, behave like 'perfect radiators,' so their color is set almost entirely by temperature. But nobody had really looked into what else might be possible for white dwarfs," team leader Mark Hollands of the University of Warwick said in a statement sent to Space.com.

...

In these conditions, elements like carbon, calcium, and sodium can interact with the surrounding dense helium plasma and absorb light across a wider range of colors than they would at lower densities. That shifts the colors of white dwarfs away from the white/light blue seen for a perfect radiator of heat.

The researchers found that the colors of white dwarfs would fit into distinct groups tied to the individual chemical makeup of the stellar remnant's atmosphere.

White dwarfs abundant in carbon should be pink or purple, while those that have been enriched with debris from consumed asteroids and comets, and the remains of old planetary systems, would take a more yellow hue. Cooler white dwarfs with mixed hydrogen and helium atmospheres often would glow cyan or pale blue, caused as hydrogen molecules collide with helium atoms in their dense atmospheres.

The researchers found that some dead star white dwarfs can go a little green around the gills after snacking on orbiting planets.

An example of this is WD J1330+6435, a cool white dwarf located around 326 light-years away, which has been accreting rocky material from a planetary companion. This has enriched its atmosphere with calcium, lithium, and sodium, and the team's model suggests this would have led WD J1330+6435 to adopt a green hue.

But unlike the green-tinged zombies of George Romero's classic Dawn of the Dead, there are no hordes of these green-faced cosmic zombies ... yet.

The only good thing about Prometheus was the backdrop of stars in ship shots, which contained green stars. I knew (or thought I knew) that there were no green stars but I liked seeing them nevertheless.

But now, who knows, maybe the worst movie ever made, Prometheus, will be hailed as visionary for predicting green stars. (Though Starcrash also featured a lot of green stars. Because its stars were straight-up Christmas tree lights. And also, the stars were not the stars of the show.)
