The most likely scenario, multiple people claimed, is that immigration cops are looking into a long-floated rumor that Omar is actually one year older than she has long claimed to be — a tiny detail that may put her citizenship in jeopardy. “The big picture here is a federal judge in Washington, DC, signed off on a search warrant. That means there’s probable cause that a federal crime was committed, and there would be evidence of that crime in the area to be searched, which in this case was Representative Omar’s home,” former assistant US attorney Jonathan Fahey told The Post. Officials from DHS raided the controversial Minnesota congresswoman‘s Washington, DC, home early Monday morning, removing boxes from the residence. . . “This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation.” the statement concluded.
The Post also saw agents carrying boxes out of the residence to government vehicles, one of which was white and marked with a pink X. A defiant Omar took to social media following the raid to announce “I will not be silenced” and called the action “an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement.”
But Fahey said it’s not easy for feds to get a DC judge to sign off on a search warrant, especially since DC judges tend to be hostile to the current administration’s whims. . .
“For a DC judge to sign off on something that’s 20 years old, you have to say you believe there is current evidence of the crime in her house,” he said. “A judge must have been very convinced.” While feds have kept a tight lip on what they’re expecting to find at the Omar residence, one source who requested anonymity given the politically charged nature of the investigation, suggested it might relate to longstanding, unverified claims that Omar misrepresented her age to get citizenship.
Omar claims she received automatic US citizenship in 2000 at age 17, granted to minor-age children of naturalized parents — in this case her father, Nur Said Mohamed Elmi, who fled to the US in 1995 from war-torn Somalia. . .
. . . The raid, which began hours before dawn, came just weeks after Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that Omar was under an ongoing “criminal” investigation and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin stated on a podcast “something’s going to happen” as investigators look into Omar’s broader family migration story.
“Generally a search warrant is occurring towards the end of an investigation because you’re building up evidence that led to this search warrant,” said Fahey. “To get to the point of searching a home, you’ve developed a case for a fairly decent period of time.”
Controversy has long surrounded Omar’s marriage to her second husband, Ahmed Elmi, a flamboyant, self-described “dirty dandy” rumored to be her brother and currently writing a thesis about “queerphobia in Kenya” at Bristol University in the UK.
Multiple sources agreed that DHS isn’t looking into that marriage. For one, the statue of limitations for marriage fraud ran out five years after the couple divorced in 2017.
A real charmer this one, eh?! Read the full dossier and you'll be projectile vomiting for hours. So, she engaged in incest with her brother and married him. Beyond immigration fraud and gaining citizenship under utterly false pretenses, being perhaps the most preeminent member of the Minnesota Somali immigrant community and an elected national politician, she has got to be up to her eyeballs in the multi-billion dollar fraud schemes that looted the national and Minnesota state treasuries to enrich dozens of her fellow Somalis but no doubt flowed back to Islamic terrorists in Somalia and the rest of the horn of Africa if not elsewhere, to fuel the genocide against Christians, Jews and other non-Muslims there and elsewhere.
If there really is any justice in this world, this hideous criminal skank and her entire brood will be removed from our midst. Of course, Minnesota and primarily the Twin Cities being the blue shitholes they are, her replacement will be an Omar replicant, if not in ethnicity and background, then in political beliefs. What the hell happened to my country?!
A staggering $9 billion may have been stolen in Minnesota’s sprawling social-services scam orchestrated mainly by members of its Somali community — a figure nearly equivalent to the entire economy of Somalia. The enormous new estimate is a nearly nine-fold increase from the swiped $1 billion previously suspected, according to federal prosecutors. It also accounts for roughly half of the $18 billion in total federal funds provided to the Minnesota-run services since 2018, the feds said — as Democratic Gov. Tim Walz continues to take heat for his handling of the debacle. By comparison to the $9 billion figure, Somalia’s entire GDP was under $12 billion last year, according to the World Bank. “Every day, we look under a rock and find a new $50 million fraud scheme.”
The scheme saw dozens of people — the vast majority from Minnesota’s Somali community — setting up businesses and non-profits that claimed to provide services such as housing, food or healthcare assistance and then billing the federally funded state programs for the non-existent services.
The fraud was so enormous that it went beyond the over-billing tactics typically seen in similar fraud cases and instead saw people setting up entire operations — sometimes coming from out of state — to get in on the goldrush of fraud opportunity, Thompson explained.
Charges for six more people allegedly involved in the scheme were announced Thursday, bringing the total number of defendants up to 92. Among the latest defendants were two people who engaged in what Thompson called “fraud tourism” by allegedly travelling from Philadelphia to set up a bogus housing aid program after spotting an opportunity to make “easy money” off Minnesota’s programs. . . Much of the funds were sent overseas or else were spent on luxury cars and other lavish items. So far, 57 people have been convicted. The scheme prompted a White House crackdown on immigration in Minnesota, with President Trump calling Somalis “garbage” and Walz “retarded” in November for the scheme that unfolded largely under his watch.
Nearly a year later and the President's assessment is still dead on the money. If only the grifters were dead and the money recovered. Oh well.
New York authorities have refused more than 16,000 federal immigration detainer requests involving illegal immigrants accused or convicted of crimes, including homicide, kidnapping and sexual offenses, according to newly released Department of Homeland Security data.
The figures, reported Monday by the New York Post, show that municipalities across the Democrat-led state have declined to honor 16,070 Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainers since President Donald Trump returned to office in January 2025.
According to DHS, the individuals associated with those requests have accumulated 52,503 criminal charges or convictions, including 131 homicides, 132 kidnappings and 1,017 sexual offenses.
The figures have renewed scrutiny of New York’s sanctuary policies, which restrict cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration authorities.
ICE detainers request that local authorities temporarily hold individuals suspected of immigration violations so federal agents can take them into custody. Sanctuary jurisdictions frequently decline those requests unless specific legal conditions are met.
The CROWN Act was one of the many ridiculous spinoffs of the BLM era. Around half of the states in the country have since passed a “Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair” (CROWN Act) protecting black people from supposed discrimination over their hairstyles. But in another example of the law of unintended consequences, the CROWN Act may be about to get a real workout from a white woman who was fired for wearing a black hairstyle.
In September, the Baltimore Rock Opera Society announced that it was hiring Kelly Carnes as its executive director, citing her 21 years of experience and her work with the Smithsonian and the Kennedy Center. In the publicity photo, Carnes appeared to have some sort of Cruella de Vil hairstyle in which one side of her hair is black and the other is white, possibly foreshadowing the racial hair drama soon to get her fired and become a national news story.
Before you say "Meh, this is England," they caught this disease from us but it ultimately will find its way back across the pond to us.
On all that, there's plenty of other madness and meshugas in today's linkapalooza, and so as you wade through it, I bid you all to nevertheless have a good day.
