The Morning Report — 10/ 7 /26

Good morning kids. Today marks the third anniversary of one of the bloodiest, most barbaric assaults not just on Israel and Jews but on humanity itself. Anyone who doesn't see and understand that or worse who has cheered it on is as evil and twisted as the evil attackers themselves.

Three years have passed since the Hamas massacre of Oct. 7, 2023 — the wholesale murder, rape and torture of more than 1,200 men, women, children and infants in Israel. Yet as Jews everywhere gather to mourn, what should be a day of quiet reflection and prayer, of defiant cries of “Never again,” is being eclipsed by something dark and obscene.

The tragedy of 10/7 has ripped the veil off the antisemitism that has always bubbled below the surface. As the nation of Israel dares to defend itself against an existential threat, the gloves have come off.

Jew hatred is now more than a quiet obsession. It is cool. In Hollywood, Jew hate has emerged from the shadows and become a chic and trendy pastime. World-famous antisemites such as Susan Sarandon, Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem don keffiyeh in solidarity with bloodthirsty terrorists. Onstage, musicians Macklemore and Zach Bryan rant about fictional Palestinian “genocide” while snubbing their noses at Jewish agony. . . In Gracie Mansion, the mayor of the city second only to Israel in its concentration of Jews, entertains Holocaust deniers and 10/7 sympathizers, ramping up a record wave of anti-Jewish hate crimes. Instead of protecting all the people of this city, Mayor Zohran Mamdani agitates for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu while surrounding himself with like-minded socialist staffers, advisers and adoring acolytes who share Hizzoner’s disdain and contempt for Jews.
The planet has turned upside-down.

To every sane person out there, yes the planet has turned upside down but considering we are barely a month past the 25th anniversary of 9/11/01, where perhaps we had imagined or deluded ourselves into believing that the world had righted itself when the rubble was removed and the smoke had cleared, and then the London Underground was bombed followed in short order by the attack in Madrid at the Atocha train station.

But of course the Freedom Tower was built, and yet Islam, and its ally of convenience domestic and international socialism continues its bloody rampage across Europe and the world...

United Airlines has removed from service a pilot who called Hamas terrorists behind the October 7 massacre “brave,” pending a review, The Daily Wire can first report. Capt. Ibrahim R. Mossallam was first suspended with pay in November 2023, but Israel’s Channel 14 reported on Monday that United quietly allowed him to return to the cockpit just six months later. United told The Daily Wire on Tuesday that it has pulled the pilot from the skies

“We have withheld this pilot from service pending an ongoing review,” an airline spokesman said.The airline did not confirm whether Mossallam had resumed flying after it began investigating in late 2023.

Switching gears completely, this is something that I'd usually ignore but because my dear sweet wife and sister-in-law were yammering on about it endlessly yesterday evening, I just "can't get it out of my head," with all due deference and apologies to E.L.O...

California Democrats just hit a damning new low, bewailing how President Donald Trump supposedly invited Iran to nuke Los Angeles and San Diego. 

As LA Mayor Karen Bass and others chimed in, Gov. Gavin Newsom posted: “The President is advocating for an attack on 10+ million U.S. residents in two of America’s largest cities.”

He added: “This is not normal. None of this is” — when in fact it’s an all too normal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. 

From Dems’ accounts, you’d guess Trump had at least made some tasteless joke; after all, he did just give out a GOP senator’s personal cell number just because the guy won’t agree to end Daylight Savings Time.

But no; it’s a straight-up smear. Here’s what Trump said at Monday night’s Nebraska rally: “You want to see a tremendous victory [in Iran], because it verifies all the things we did. And again, remember, with the word, [the gas price rise] is just artificial, it’s a little bit high. “It’s a small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe. They can take out a city. Let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. That’s — this is a very small price to pay, and it’s gonna be over with very soon.”

Sloppy, sure; Trump was riffing on the stump. But no way was he inviting Iran to attack those cities, nor even joking about it. 

He was arguing that the temporary spike in gas prices is a very small price to pay, compared to the terrible cost of Iran going nuclear and destroying an American city.

No, it wasn't sloppy at all. Anyone with more than Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants' two barely firing synapses, if that many, not only knows what the President said and in what context but understands that an Iranian nuclear warhead is an existential threat that must be neutralized. In no way did he cheer on or call for Iran to nuke San Diego or LA, though given who and what is running California and far too many other places in America and what they have planned for the rest of the nation should they gain control of the Federal government, and if they have their way never relinquish that control, the jokers twisting President Trump's words actually make the case.

And now let the trolls accuse me of calling for Iran to nuke America! Meh, why am I getting so exercised. It's puerile, infantile, amateurish and typical of the Trump-deranged Left, and yet too many seemingly intelligent people swallow this crap whole without even a mildly critical second thought.

Oh well, it is what it is. So Basta cosi and God bless the memory of all those slaughtered by Islam and protect us from their evil and that of their allies of convenience on the Left who seek our destruction so they can serve Satan by destroying and enslaving us.
