Boston Globe Op-Ed: The "Trans Genocide" Is a Lie

And a deadly one, I'd add, because the vicious propaganda of a "trans genocide" is used to rile up the mentally ill to commit murder, as we have seen in the case of the "Ziz" transgender murder cult and, despite what simpleton narcissist Candace Owens says, the assassination of a Charlie Kirk by a gay trans-loving furry avenger.

The media attacks every "right wing conspiracy theory" they claim might lead to violence, while affirmatively pushing left-wing conspiracy theories like the "lynching" trend that does not exist.

But so what if some normies get murdered. The important thing is that we jack up Democrat voting enthusiasm.

It's a bit unexpected to see the liberal David Mastio writing about the "trans genocide" fiction in the ultra-lib Boston Globe, so I'll award Hufflepuff one credit.

Note, however, Mastio and the Globe cannot admit the truth -- that in fact transgenders experience violence at lower rates than normal people, which is pretty amazing considering they tend to work in dangerous fields like prostitution -- and still pretend that this is a big problem.

The notion that transgender people face soaring levels of violence is so ingrained in the public discourse, it gets little scrutiny even in the reddest and most trans-rights skeptical areas of the country -- like my hometown.

In a front page story this summer on the local Pride march, the Omaha World-Herald uncritically quoted a trans rights activist claiming that a proposed state ballot measure that would restrict transgender girls' and women's participation in school sports "won't actually protect" biological women and girls and "will increase violence" against LGBTQ people.

Stigmatizing transgender people, the argument goes, leads to attacks.

But despite a hostile Trump administration and a barrage of anti-trans legislation across the country, the number of violent deaths the group documents has fallen nearly 50 percent from 53 in 2023 to 27 in 2025.

Advocacy groups insist the data is incomplete and shouldn't be used to draw any conclusions about the prevalence of anti-trans violence. That's due, they say, to the bigotry of families and authorities who misname and misgender the victims, making it hard to discern from public records how many transgender people are dying.

"The numbers show that trans people are not killed in higher rates than other groups, but for Reasons We're Making Up Right Now we should be allowed the 'real' number to be much higher."

Still it's hard to imagine that as awareness about the transgender community has grown, misgendering and pronoun-swapping have become more common in police reports and news accounts than they were a decade ago, when another prominent LGBTQ organization, the Human Rights Campaign, began publishing its own numbers on violence against transgender people. The HRC tallies, too, find a declining number of violent transgender deaths to mourn. The group found a peak in 2021 of 47 deaths falling to 27 last year. HRC described that 40 percent drop as an "ongoing onslaught of violence."

Federal FBI hate crimes data also shows a decline in the abuse of trans people between 2024 and 2025.

One hate crime is one too many, but for all the backlash against transgender people, an analysis by the conservative Manhattan Institute shows they actually have a lower murder rate than does the population as a whole.

Oh they do admit it late in the article. That's something, I guess.

I offered the Human Rights Campaign's key researcher, the transgender woman Charleigh Flohr, or anyone else with the organization an opportunity to rebut the Manhattan Institute finding, but they didn't reply to me. And I can find no evidence that they have disputed the report in the months since its publication.
