The ex-husband of Lindsey Clancy, Patrick Clancy, is threatening through his lawyer to pursue legal action against "so-called influencers" who have accused him of the killings and claimed he framed Lindsey Clancy for them.

Patrick Clancy's attorney, Howard Cooper, said in a statement that the "relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign" has harmed his client's reputation and livelihood, the New York Times reported.

While she admitted to carrying out the killings, she pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder, arguing that she had been experiencing postpartum psychosis and heard a voice commanding her to kill the children and herself. Her trial ended last week when the jury deadlocked.
