Democrats are pretending that they want to distance themselves from their violent foreign terrorist influencer, Hasan Piker.

The debate over Piker blew up over the weekend when Rolling Stone published an extensive profile on him that included an overview of his upbringing in Turkey, his morning routine and a glamorous photoshoot at his Los Angeles home with the headline, "Why Is Everyone Scared of Hasan Piker?"

Some conservatives, including co-host of ABC's The View, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, re-upped their criticism of Piker in response to the weekend attention, with Farrah alleging the "Piker phenomena" is a "desperate desire on the Left to find its own Joe Rogan/ Manosphere powerhouse" and Elon Musk tweeting "he means what he says," quoting Piker saying "we're going to destroy the white race," a statement he made mocking right-wing conspiracies.

Some centrist Democrats called on progressives to distance themselves, such as MS NOW's Joe Scarborough, who referenced some of Piker's most controversial anti-Israel rhetoric while discussing Abdul El-Sayed's win in Michigan's Democratic Senate primary on Monday, accusing progressives more broadly of being "too woke to call out the obvious."

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., when asked by ABC News over the weekend if Piker should have a role in the progressive movement, didn't answer directly, but lamented that Democrats need to do more to reach young voters, who "are engaging in mediums and conversations that we have a responsibility to attend to and be responsive to."

Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is among multiple progressives who have appeared with Piker online or campaigned with him, including Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, Reps. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., Ro Khanna, D-Calif., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.

El-Sayed's affiliation with Piker in particular has prompted sharp criticism from moderate Democrats, including Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., who told El-Sayed via a Fox News interview last week, "I dare you to continue to campaign with people like Hasan Piker," while longtime Democratic strategist James Carville threatened to leave the Democratic Party earlier this month if Piker didn't, and Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., also blasted El-Sayed for campaigning with Piker.

Hasan Piker admits that the Democrats are practicing taqiyya. He says Democrats are doubling down on their extremist policies while merely "moderating our comms," that is, rhetoric.

Abdul El-Sayed surrogate Hasan Piker explains the importance of lying to voters:

He admits that El-Sayed's true beliefs are "electoral poison": "You got to moderate your message, even if you don't want to temper your movement, in order to sell it to the public."

Polling suggested Piker was on track to celebrate another victory last week in the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary. The radical leftist he endorsed, Francesca Hong, was expected to win by double digits. She ended up narrowly losing to an establishment-backed opponent, David Crowley.

Piker responded by throwing a tantrum. He lashed out at "the fucking national media" and "the median American voter" for sabotaging Hong's campaign. "Fuck 'em and fuck Thanksgiving," he huffed, referring to Hong's view that the holiday should be canceled because it celebrates "colonialism" and the murder of "Indegenous [sic] folx [sic]."

Then, like a total bitch, Piker practically begged the Democratic Party--an institution he has ruthlessly attacked as insufficiently sympathetic to Hamas, Luigi Mangione, Mao Zedong, and Fidel Castro, among others--to stop being so mean to him.

Piker, relentlessly pushed by the leftwing media as the left's answer to the Masculinity Deficit, whined that Democrats need to defend him more when people say bad things on Twitter!

"I know we don't always see eye to eye on a lot of stuff, but you have to literally, at some point, I know you don't want to do this, defend me," Piker groveled pathetically. "Not because you love what I have to say, not because I'm part of this coalition, even though I am, whether you like it or not, but you are going to inevitably have to say, 'This is a ridiculous conversation that we're having, because the real conversation that Republicans don't want to have is the cost of living crisis.'"

I get the feeling that this guy has a folder on his computer called "Taxes 2021," and inside that folder is a subfolder called "Show Ideas," and inside that subfolder is another folder called "Scalding-Hot Poop Videos."

Just a feeling I get. I haven't seen his computer. The Jews haven't leaked it to me.

Yet.

The millionaire influencer went on to say it would be helpful if Democrats could be "a little bit more honest about how I'm not this dangerous, toxic radical force" whose radical views will hurt the party in general election matchups with Republicans. Meanwhile, Piker's establishment critics do not seem particularly eager to concede that point. In Michigan, for example, recent polling shows the GOP nominee for U.S. Senate, Mike Rogers, leading El-Sayed by several percentage points in a race that--on paper--Democrats should be heavily favored to win.

A lot is riding on the outcome. If El-Sayed wins, Democrats will be the ones groveling. They'll agree to Piker's terms and give him a speaking slot at the 2028 convention. If Rogers wins, Democrats will be pretty annoyed and looking for someone to blame. Piker's feelings may never recover.

Evidence: Piker, his terror pal El-Sayed, Chris Hayes, and Democrat Senator John Ostorov are all "dandymaxxing," wearing metrosexual or even full-on gay fashion to appeal to male voters.

Police stopped another attempted mass invasion of Ceuta.

Note that the socialist president doesn't want to stop the invasion, but other European countries are economically isolating Spain over his mass-amnesty policies, so he has to make a token effort.

Moroccan police have blocked a second attempt by migrants to cross the border into Ceuta en masse.

Riot police were deployed at the border on Saturday as hundreds prepared to storm the Spanish territory, two weeks after tens of thousands made the crossing.

Migrants gathered in the border town of Castillejos after calls were made on social media encouraging a second attempt.

Moroccan police arrested about 300 people, mostly from sub-Saharan Africa, for attempting to cross into Ceuta. Another 61 people were arrested for "inciting and promoting" on social media, reports said.

This follows the incident on July 30 which saw at least 72,000 people pour across the border in an attempt to illegally enter Europe through one of its only land borders with Africa.

At least 88 people died in the attempt, with many drowning or being crushed to death, in what was described as the single largest illegal influx into the EU. Most of those who reached Ceuta were returned to Morocco, but some remain in the exclave.
