The Tuesday Morning Rant

Good morning. CBD is on special assignment. Again. So you get this.

To be honest with you. I've been pretty busy with projects. And my daily upkeep of the news has been lacking.

As I was looking at my Face Book account Sunday morning there were some notifications from several people I know. They were responding to a news item I had no knowledge of. But, from what I gathered. Someone was killed by a cop in my home state's capitol city, Madison.

And the Chief of Police of Madison had lost control of a press conference.

So before I even searched web for "Madison Man Killed By Police", my guess was a black male with a felony record decided to play FAFO. Of course his death was not a result of his piss poor decision making skills but Madison's finest. Although Madison is about as woke as woke goes. The average LEO wants only one thing. To return home at the end of his/her shift. No "Madison Man Killed By Police" you cannot play FA and not face FO.

One of the articles that came up when I hit searched, "Madison Man Killed By Police" was the following: Madison police kill man in broad daylight in front of witnesses.

State Sen. Kelda Roys, another candidate in the primary, said, “Let this city wrap its arms around Corey’s family and loved ones, and demand justice for him and them and all of us. There must be a full, independent investigation and the responsible officers held fully accountable under the law, as required by Wisconsin statute. The Department of Justice should serve as the lead investigator to ensure fairness and impartiality. We do not have to accept this as normal or inevitable. It is NOT. No other country in the world tolerates this level of police violence. We can and must create a more just, safe world for all of us.”

My curiosity was certainly piqued about this man, Cory Ruiz, killed by Madison police.

What did I find out when I went to the wonderful Wisconsin Circuit Court Access record of one Cory Ruiz? Mr. Ruiz was born on January 5, 1988. At the time of his death on July 22, 2026 he was 38 years of his age.

According to Wisconsin's CCAP Mr. Ruiz's first brush with the Wisconsin court system as an adult was in 2007 at the ripe age of 19. Just a minor conviction of disorderly conduct. Oh but it gets better. One of my favorites was from 2009 when our aspiring Rhodes Scholar was singled out for the following:

Dane County Case Number 2009CF000495 State of Wisconsin vs. Corey D Ruiz

The defendant Corey D Ruiz was found guilty of the following charge(s) in this case.

Strangulation and Suffocation, a class H felony, Wisconsin Statutes 940.235(1).
Robbery with Use of Force, a class E felony, Wisconsin Statutes 943.32(1)(a).
Strangulation and Suffocation, a class H felony, Wisconsin Statutes 940.235(1).
Charge(s) in this case were read in to this or other case(s). A "read in" charge is a charge that is dismissed as part of a plea agreement, however:

The defendant agrees to have the court consider the charge(s) when sentencing for another crime, under Wis. Stats. 973.20(1g)(b); and
The defendant cannot be prosecuted for these charge(s) in the future.

I'm guessing the sealed juvenile record of this distinguished citizen is about as long as long as my 2 arms.

I'm not sure why I'm ranting about a loser thug who has been in trouble his entire adult life. It's so predictable. And of course if the victimization of the deceased doesn't upset you. This might do it. The Madison politicians are just as fvcked up as their dead criminals.

As with Officer of Derek Chauvin of the St. George Fiasco of Minnehopelis. These 4 Madison cops don't stand a chance. And I for one am sick and fvcking tired of an American race that cannot and will not act civilized; the politicians which enable their predictable criminal behavior and the resulting mayhem affecting the law abiding citizens which they supposedly "represent".

Obviously the black community has forgotten the PSA put out by Chris Rock. I guess it's time to remind all people who might have contact with a LEO.

And that's my rant, for now.
