Hello,

My cat Jasmine crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, April 29.

She was 13 years old, going on 14.

She first came to my attention when I saw a picture of her on the local animal shelter's website. I was looking for a companion for my first cat Penny and Jasmine's picture just called out to me. I went over to the animal shelter and was able to adopt Jasmine.

It took her a few months to get acclimated to my house. She had a tendency to hide anywhere that was big enough to fit a cat, such as under my recliner and even in the drawers in my TV table. Penny didn't like her much at first, but then they figured things out and soon enough I saw them both sitting in my office chair like boon companions.

For the past 13 years Jasmine has been the perfect little lap kitty, just the right size to fit in my lap, purring contentedly and giving me head bonks to show her affection.

I will miss her dearly, but I was able to be with her until the end.

She passed knowing that she was loved. Jasmine truly was a blessing from the Lord.

Oh, we are crushed to hear that you have lost beautiful little Jasmine. She looks just like you have described her here and in past posts. Please give some extra love to your other kitties for us.

Just inherited him, my son thinks he is broken. Does any other cat sleep like this? He even lets us trim nails while he is asleep like this

It is Wasabi Ruckus’ birthday today! He turned 6. I can’t believe it.
