Killer of Caltech Astrophysicist Was Let Out of Jail by Leftwing Judge, Citing California's "Unnecessary Prosecutions" Law

Signed into law by Gavin Newsom, of course.

It is better that a thousand innocent men be killed by Democrat criminal lunatics than a single Democrat criminal spend a night in stir, goes the insane leftwing "thinking."

A gunman accused of shooting dead a world-famous Caltech genius last week was let out of jail just two months ago despite a felony gun charge, the California Post has learned.

Freddy Snyder was released by a judge using an "unnecessary prosecutions" law in December -- before allegedly going on to kill Carl Grillmair in Llano last week.

The 29-year-old was picked up two days before Christmas for carrying a loaded firearm and an attempted jail escape, but was released on his own recognizance.

The felony case was suddenly dismissed under the Penal Code 1385 California, often referred to as PC 1385, a code ultimately decided by the judge.

DCD Law, an LA law firm, said: "The key standard for dismissal under Penal Code 1385 is the "interest of justice."

"This means the court looks beyond technical rules and focuses on what is fair. The judge considers the nature of the offense, the circumstances of the accused, and public interest."

Gavin Newsom is now talkin' some jive about wanting to "moderate" on cultural issues, just months before he formally announces his run for president.

Of course, his actual record is of limitless, remorseless advocacy for trans grooming.

Newsom made doing the will of the most extreme trans activists in the world a priority from which he never wavered during a decade as governor of California. He will say whatever is necessary to recapture the White House and then, like Biden, he will work tirelessly to permit zero daylight to come between himself and the most extreme trans activists. He will spare nothing in imposing a whole of government effort to coerce every American into advancing the transgender agenda at any cost.

Although Gavin Newsom attempted to pander to black Democrats by saying he had low SAT scores and "can't read," when he's in front of white people he wants to impress, he says he read a 260 page book in 90 minutes.

He's also claiming he had no idea that he comes from a family of disgusting filthy communist traitors. Even CNN's leftwing propagandist Dana Bash has to question Newsom's claim of total ignorance of his family's support for the Soviet Union and trips to that communist tyranny.
