Politico: Judges Are Furious That ICE is Ignoring Their Lawless, Quickly-Overturned Demands to Release Criminal Illegal Aliens

Courts across the country have overwhelmingly rejected the Trump administration's effort to round up thousands of immigrants and lock them up without a chance for bond -- even if they have no criminal records and have lived in the United States for years.

Because left-wingers have venue-shopped for leftwing judges who will deliver lawless opinions. These opinions tend to be overruled when they're ultimately reviewed by actual judges who rule on the law and who aren't just communist agents of the Democrat Socialist Antifa Party.

But the Trump administration has slow-walked or outright defied judges' orders demanding the release of people scooped up by Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an increasingly rapid clip.

Oh no. It sounds like two co-equal branches have a dispute.

Except... it's not a dispute between the Executive and the Judiciary Branch. The Judiciary Branch's power is invested in a Supreme Court, whose powers are delegated to inferior judges, whose rulings they can and often do overturn.

So this is not a fight between the united power of the Executive and the united power of the Judiciary -- it's a fight between the united power of the Executive and minor functionaries of another branch who do not possess but 1/1000th of its power, and that only a temporary, provisional basis.

A POLITICO review of hundreds of cases brought by ICE detainees across the country shows judges increasingly furious and exhausted by the Trump administration's tactics.

"There has been an undeniable move by the Government in the past month to defy court orders or at least to stretch the legal process to the breaking point in an attempt to deny noncitizens their due process rights," U.S. District Judge Michael Davis, a Clinton appointee from Minnesota, said in a recent order.

As a result, judges have issued more detailed and prescriptive orders to head off potential loopholes or hair-splitting results. And when all else fails, they threaten to hold administration officials in contempt.

Asked about the deepening conflict with courts, Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin reissued previous statements criticizing "activist judges" for trying to "thwart President Trump from fulfilling the American people's mandate for mass deportations." The statement didn't directly address judges' complaints about their orders being violated.

In recent days, judges in Minnesota have expressed frustration that even when complying with their orders, ICE has been doing so in bad faith. Detainees that the agency had whisked to Texas, for example, were being released far from home with no way to contact loved ones or lawyers, and sometimes without their phones, documents or other possessions.

They don't have which documents? Their falsified papers?

Perhaps federal judges would do better to have some self-reflection as to why their orders continue to get overturned by higher courts, and how that might feed into a perception that their orders aren't necessarily something that should be taken seriously

Meanwhile, CBS "News" whines that Trump must be lying when he says he's targeting the criminal illegal aliens first, because only 14% of the detained and deported are violent criminal offenders.

But wait -- doesn't that mean that there are others who, while not "violent criminals" per se, are still serious criminal offenders?

Why yes. Yes that's exactly what it means.

In fact, of those deported, a whopping 60% are wanted for other serious crimes, apart from the obvious crime of being present in the country illegally.

Less than 14% of those arrested by ICE in Trump's 1st year back in office had violent criminal records, document shows - CBS News.

Less than 14% of nearly 400,000 immigrants arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in President Trump's first year back in the White House had charges or convictions for violent criminal offenses, according to an internal Department of Homeland Security document obtained by CBS News....

It goes on to say, "The internal DHS figures undermine frequent assertions by the Trump administration that its crackdown on illegal immigration is primarily targeting dangerous and violent criminals living in the U.S. illegally, people Mr. Trump and his lieutenants have regularly called the 'worst of the worst.'"

Even at this, CBS makes this admission, so perhaps Weiss has had an impact: "Nearly 60% of ICE arrestees over the past year had criminal charges or convictions, the document indicates. But among that population, the majority of the criminal charges or convictions are not for violent crimes."

Even by CBS's own numbers, the data show conclusively that ICE is primarily targeting charged and convicted criminals. Somehow, they've decided that "non-violent" felons violate President Trump's policy statement, but that is a bizarre reading of his words.

The "non-violent crimes" these Maryland Men are being deported for include child molestation, child pornography, human trafficking, drug dealing, and of course membership in a "Foreign Terrorist Organization" like Tren de Aragua and MS-13.

All very "non-violent" stuff. Practically speeding tickets.

But there's another trick they're playing, streiff notes. Because many of these "non-violent" criminals are actually wanted in their home countries for crimes that are very definitely violent -- like multiple counts of murder.

The other part of the puzzle is how many of the remaining third without any criminal offenses in the U.S. were guilty of some heinous crap back home. Take the case of Edward Hernandez, an illegal from El Salvador. While his record has been squeaky clean, emphasize the word "record," because we can't know about his unrevealed activities, according to the Department of Homeland Security, "he is an MS-13 member & confessed to murdering 5 people in El Salvador through shooting, torturing, stabbing, and dismemberment (including one victim who was alive)."

How about this guy, whose only offense in the U.S. was driving without a license? Well, like the "Maryland Dad," he's a bad actor.

Horrendous crimes such as the distribution of child pornography, drug trafficking, burglary, fraud, human smuggling, even being in a gang like MS13 or Tren de Aragua or being a known or suspected terrorist are considered "non-violent crimes" by the media.

Take Antonio Israel Lazo-Quintanilla who was wanted back in El Salvador for aggravated HOMICIDE, extortion, possession of drugs, and a litany of other felonies. However, his only crime in the U.S. was driving without a license.

It is absurd to quantify Lazo-Quintanilla as "nonviolent" when he is a confirmed member of the 18th Street Gang, a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO), and was on El Salvador's most wanted gang members list. He was a public safety threat that we were fortunate to apprehend BEFORE he could victimize Americans.

Wait until you see this Maryland Man.

The man wanted in his own country as a terrorist gang member who has the literal Mark of the Beast tattooed on his FUCKING FACE did nothing wrong!

He intends to Culturally Enrich us! At the point of a machete, if need be!
