The Morning Report — 11/4/25

Good morning kids. So, today is election day and while there are a few very high profile races, I assume that voting is taking place in every state and locality. So do get out there and cast your ballot. Hopefully wherever you are and whatever office is on the ballot, you have the choice to not only vote for the most pro-American conservative candidate that you can, but that said candidate actually has a shot at winning. The two biggest contests are in Virginia where Winsome Earle Sears can and will overcome whatever fraud the Democrats can throw out there in order to drag the horrid Abigail Spanberger over the finish line to give them another governorship which we and President Trump desperately need. The one race that has captured all the attention in the media and more crucially the public at large, is the race for NYC mayor. Zohran Mamdani, weaponized virus with half the DNA of Joseph Stalin and the other half of Osama Bin Laden has been in the lead for weeks and is likely to win. The disaster that will befall New York will not be contained to the five boroughs.

President Trump did something surprising in his last minute endorsement of independent candidate Andrew Cuomo.

President Donald Trump told New Yorkers on Monday to back Independent New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo in the city’s mayoral race instead of Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa.

In a Truth Social post, Trump said he would withhold federal funding from New York if Democratic New York City mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani wins, calling the socialist state assemblyman a “total failure” who would lead the city into “complete and total economic and social disaster.”

. . . Polling suggests Sliwa’s performance could decide whether socialist Mamdani maintains his lead over Cuomo. Surveys showing weaker support for Sliwa consistently narrow the gap between Mamdani and Cuomo, hinting at a potential late shift in the race.

An Emerson College Polling/PIX11/The Hill survey released Thursday shows Mamdani leading Cuomo by 25 points, 50% to 25%, with 21% backing Sliwa and 4% undecided. Support for Mamdani has climbed seven points since Sept. 10, when an earlier Emerson poll put him at 43%.

Trump told reporters on Oct. 22 that Sliwa “is not going to win,” adding that if Sliwa dropped out, “maybe Cuomo would have a little bit of a chance, but not much.”

Cuomo dismissed Sliwa’s chances of winning, saying that if “you vote for Curtis, save yourself the time, and vote for Mamdani.” He later told SiriusXM’s Stephen A. Smith that a Mamdani victory in the Nov. 4 general election would mark “the death of the Democratic Party.”

Sadly the President and Cuomo are correct in that Sliwa doesn't really have a snowball's chance in Hell of winning. While I am no huge fan of Curtis Sliwa, at least he's not a far Left or Islamic maniac and having ridden the NYC subways in the bad old days of the 70s and 80s I always breathed a sigh of relief to see Sliwa's Guardian Angels in their red berets riding in the car with me. And the President is of course correct that Mamdani will completely destroy whatever is still functioning and normal in NYC that Adams and the perpetually insane Communist city council have not destroyed by now.

As for Smith's prediction that the Democrat Party will die, that brings up the questions of what exactly is the Democrat Party and what does it represent. In reality not in mythology and shibboleths about freedom, liberty, civil rights, championing the underdog and all the other goody good tripe about Democracy.

The Democrat Party is the epicenter of Anti-Americanism and anti-western Judeo/Christianity. Despite what we have been hearing not only from our side of the divide but from their side, be it Smith or John Fetterman or even vermin like James Carville and others that the embrace, or the open espousal of views and policies that in the past they desperately did their best to cover up and distance themselves from, why is it that the younger generations are now embracing socialism more than ever.

If polling prior to and even after the assassination of Charlie Kirk is correct in that the aforementioned cohort of younger Americans are drifting away from the Democrats and heading back towards God and traditional America, then the vicissitudes of NYC politics notwithstanding, how is it that Mamdani and candidates like him, as well as Bernie Sanders et al and Socialism are growing in popularity?

With Zohran Mamdani’s ascension in New York City, Bernie Sanders nearly capturing the Democrat presidential nomination in 2016 and 2020, and the rapidly expanding number of Marxist-indoctrinated candidates and elected officials, socialism—or its latest euphemism, “Democratic Socialism”—is now the dominant philosophical underpinning of the Democrat party. This is a philosophical capture that will not result in transforming the United States but in the fracturing and demise of America’s oldest political party. . . Most of the current iteration of socialists in the United States have never faced any significant national adversity, as the country has experienced unparalleled peace and prosperity for four generations. Far too many, because of a desire to be part of the in-crowd as well as outright ignorance, are captivated by the chimerical theories of socialism/Marxism and refuse to acknowledge the reality of its roster of failures.

Their efforts to transform the United States into a one-party socialist nation will never succeed thanks to America’s unprecedentedly successful two-hundred-fifty-year history as a capitalist-based constitutional republic. While they can foment temporary chaos and turmoil that will repulse most Americans, the only thing they will accomplish is the inevitable fracturing and destruction of the Democrat party they now control.

As I alluded to above, the Democrat party as an entity or brand or whatever might disappear, the will to absolute power that has driven it and its leadership and base will remain, as it always had since human beings first walked the earth. Evil never rests, and so there will be some other party with some other name that will seek to destroy us and seize control.

I'd like to think that the NYC mayoralty race is not a bellwether for the rest of the country insofar as the direction we are heading, but that it is merely indicative of the City's unfortunate historical Leftist/Democrat political bent, the miracle of the Giuliani years notwithstanding.

Mamdani is already threatening insurrection via nullification specifically in shielding the illegal alien population.

Ditto this scumbag Mamdani-wannabe in residence in Mogadishu on the Mississippi:

Minneapolis mayoral candidate Omar Fateh discussed a plan during a podcast interview involving coordination between city leadership and community-based organizations to ensure elected officials and neighborhood groups are informed before potential immigration enforcement activity.

If either of them, or anyone and everyone from Pritzker to Newsom twitch so much as a muscle to interfere with ICE or the National Guard, President Trump must arrest them and charge them with federal crimes.

Elsewhere in the wider world, as our military is blasting drug-smuggling boats out of the water in the Pacific and in the Southern hemisphere near Venezuela, is this merely an action between that Communist access and us or are other nefarious actors in the mix. To ask is of course to answer.

The next time you hear someone expressing outrage over the attacks on Venezuelan boats that the Trump administration believes are being used by narco-traffickers, remind them of all the criminals — drug traffickers, money launderers, passport forgers — Venezuela has been protecting, and especially, they should be told that Venezuela is Hezbollah’s most valuable ally in all of South America. And that is why Trump’s promise to use, if he deems it necessary, the CIA to attack the narco-traffickers inside Venezuela should be encouraged. Let no part of Venezuela be safe for Hezbollah. Trump would garner much more support for his policy of attacking narco-traffickers, and of enlarging that sea campaign with attacks on Venezuelan soil, were he to spell out for the public the connection between that country, and many of its traffickers who are providing a financial lifeline to Hezbollah.

Of course Hezbollah is Iran and Iran is Hezbollah. Iran has long had a very close relationship with Venezuela going back at least as far as that idiotic Parrot who had Hugo Chavez stuck on its claw. Iran has been funneling spies and terrorists north through Venezuela and into the USA and Canada. There was also talk of Iran building some sort of rocket base in the north of Venezuela from which it could have launched missiles with enough range to hit the continental United States.

Venezuela and the still remaining communist nations in the region, Cuba numero uno among them, can and do pose national security threats to us and with a still existing Mullahocracy in Tehran hell bent on revenge for our taking out (we think) of their nuclear program and their preexisting Islamic hatred of America and what it represents, Venezuela et al should and must be kept in check.

Psaki-Psircling back to Mamzer-dani, As CBD, Robert Spencer and I discussed on the last podcast, the likely to be next mayor of NYC's Shi'ite Twelverism puts him in league with Iran and considering all of the above, that does not bode well for not jus the Big Apple but all of the USA.
