Cracker Barrel announces that it is scrapping its entire $700 million rebrand effort.

In a post on X and the company's website, the "Old Country Stores" wrote that "You've shared your voices in recent weeks not just on our logo, but also on our restaurants. We're continuing to listen. Today, we're suspending our remodels. If your restaurant hasn't been remodeled, you don't need to worry, it won't be."

"We heard clearly that the modern remodel design does not reflect what you love about Cracker Barrel," it added. "We had tested this design in only four out of 660 locations, and we won't continue with it. Of course, we will continue to invest in our restaurants to make sure that they are in good shape and meet your expectations."

I heard a guy, Cecil Says, explaining the problem with Cracker Barrel: It's stopped making food fresh from scratch and now mostly just reheats pre-prepared, frozen meals. He said that three years ago he ate at Cracker Barrel and it was a fantastic meal. Chicken and waffles or something. But he's been there twice more since then and said both times the food tasted frozen and hospital-like.

But Cracker Barrel won't change that. Preparing meals from scratch again will be too costly.

Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), campaign filings suggest.

AOC's campaign shelled out $3,508.92 alone at the Vdara Hotel & Spa -- which boasts a five-star relaxation retreat and posh penthouses -- in Las Vegas during the tour in March.

Baseline prices for some rooms at the ritzy hotel can run up to nearly $1,000, depending on the day.

It was not immediately clear what type of services the darling of the socialist set may have enjoyed at the costly hot spot, what time frame was involved or how many staffers helped rack it up the hefty bill, which was first reported by the Washington Examiner.

Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders, a millionaire, began their "Fighting Oligarchy" tour earlier this year to mobilize the country's progressive base against the Trump administration.

Her campaign's Vegas hotel expenditure occurred around the time of a town-hall event she participated in about a 20 minutes away with Sanders and Rep. Steven Horsford (D-Nev.) in Northern Las Vegas on March 20 to rail against the top 1%.

Kathy Hochul, a sexagenarian who Karol Sheinin never tired of pointing out demanded that everyone be masked at all times despite never wearing a mask in public herself, is now rewriting New York health guidelines to claim that physical activity creates a risk of "long covid." She's claiming this so that she can categorize healthy, physically-active children at a heightened risk for covid and thus mandate the clot-shot for them.

When will we stop these fucking maniacs?!?

Five years after COVID-19 lockdowns punished physical activity outside the home, possibly facilitating adverse events mistaken for biologically elusive "long COVID," the Empire State is explicitly warning residents that exercise is a threat to their health.

The claim that "physical activity" is an "underlying medical condition" that increases a person's risk of "severe COVID" showed up in the New York State Department of Health's guidance to pharmacists and physicians on how to circumvent Trump administration policies so that all New Yorkers ages 3 and up, regardless of health, can get COVID vaccines.

A physician who works in New York and New Jersey sent the Sept. 5 guidance to former Senate pharma corruption investigator Paul Thacker, he said in his newsletter Sunday.

In six steps, the guidance explains how to prescribe "patient-specific orders" for COVID vaccines "off-label," meaning for purposes the Food and Drug Administration hasn't expressly authorized and lists the conditions that trigger the state's strongest recommendation that a given group "should" be vaccinated, one of which is "physical activity."

Vaccine boosters were less friendly to off-label uses during the Biden administration, with his FDA allegedly interfering with doctors' attempts to prescribe ivermectin as a COVID treatment and securing legislative authority to ban off-label uses at will.

"I have never seen any Dept of Health encourage off label prescriptions ever," the physician identified as "Michelle" told Thacker. She's baffled by the physical activity warning: "Your moderate activity that keeps you healthy, keeps your cholesterol down, your blood pressure down, is what they actually say is putting you at risk for severe COVID."

Apparently the Democrat caucus in Congress still has a J6 committee in operation -- why? Why are we allowing this? -- and they've appointed a crack team of
partisan maniacs and Likely Chinese Spies to staff it.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) proudly announced the names of the other theater-kid members he wants to join him on a new subcommittee investigating what happened on January 6, 2021, and it goes as badly as you imagine.

To kick things off with this clown car, Jeffries named Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) to be the lead Democrat on the new subcommittee.

And as you can expect, Swalwell took the mic and suggested J6 was just like other days that will live in infamy in our history, like Pearl Harbor and September 11, 2001.

Swalwell says the three "most important dates in American history" since the Civil War are the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor on "December 7, 1941, September 11th, and January 6th."

He also called J6 the "worst of wrongs," and he continued to draw a comparison between what happened that day and the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was next up, and she got a turn to say something crazy when she claimed that the GOP-led J6 subcommittee is nothing more than a distraction from President Donald Trump.

She claimed that it's an attempt to distract from Trump not lowering the cost of food; however, the cost of food has gone down under President Trump, but she can't be distracted by things like facts.

If you're older than 29, you may remember that Oliver North, the Marine who oversaw the alleged arms-for-hostages deal with Iran, was pilloried by the media for having an affair with his secretary, Fawn Hall. Forty years ago.

Apparently, they -- he, 81, she, 65 -- just got married in a "secret ceremony."

Oliver North and his loyal former secretary Fawn Hall reportedly married in secret last month -- 40 years after their leading roles in the infamous Iran-Contra affair.

A copy of the couple's marriage license, obtained by journalist Michael Isikoff, shows North, 81, and Hall, 65, were married in Arlington County, Virginia, on Aug. 27.

"It was a secret marriage," a friend of the newlyweds told Isikoff.

Hall, North's glamorous secretary at the NSC, was granted immunity by prosecutors investigating the case as she revealed that she destroyed, altered and hid evidence implicating North and others in illegal activity.

North reconnected with Hall last December, at the funeral for his wife of 56 years, according to Isikoff, writing for the "SpyTalk" Substack page.

"She rekindled the relationship at the funeral," a friend of the couple said. "They started spending time together."

Good news: A Democrat judge in Michigan has tossed the deranged five-year persecution of Michigan's alternative electors for daring to believe the election was rigged (which, btw, it was).

In a major gut-punch to Michigan's Democrat activist Attorney General Dana Nessel, Governor Whitmer-appointed Judge Kristin Simmins has ignored party allegiance and decided to put an end to the lawfare against 15 innocent Republican electors from the 2020 election, who cast an alternate slate of electoral votes for President Trump in a state where the stunning election results were highly contested by many.

The 8 felony charges against the 15 electors would have carried life sentences for most of them:

Recently, The Gatway Pundit shared a stunning video that showed MI AG Dana Nessel on a Zoom call with a far-left group, bragging about how, if the judge (Kristin Simmins) decides to send the alternate electors case to a jury trial, she's set them up to be tried in the deep blue city of Lansing, MI, where it's very likely they won't get a fair jury trial. In other words, Michigan's top law enforcement officer is mocking these 15 mostly senior citizens who are entitled to a fair trial for not being able to receive a fair trial.

I think that September 17th will turn out to be the most efficient, drama-free, distraction-free day of work in a century.
