Gardening, Home and Nature Thread, Sept. 13
Hi KT,
Very nice landscaping at the NY Mets baseball academy/complex in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. They really do very nice work and take pride in manicuring the facility.
Thanks again for all the posts you do!

Thanks, scampydog! You described that landscaping perfectly!

Edible Gardening/Putting Things By
It's September, and here are some scenes from a farmer's market in Ogden, Utah, where an enthusiast has been encouraging people to grow fruit trees, including under winter protection. What looks good to you?
Have you ever sold produce at a farmers market?

KUDZU
They are not all bad.

Yes, THAT kudzu. The one that swallows stationary school buses.
Kudzu is edible and is used medicinally, but may not be as useful for alcohol misuse as sometimes hoped. It has some drug interactions and side effects.

Gardens of The Horde
Actually, this is from a cousin. This geranium was about to be discarded after a funeral, but she heard it calling, "you can save me" as she held it over the trash can. Looks pretty good now.
What's going on in your garden? Harvesting anything? Saving anything?
