Democrat NYC Comptroller and Mayoral Candidate Arrested for Attempting to Physically Block ICE from Arresting a Criminal Illegal
Update: Poll Shows Massive Support for ICE
The Democrats are claiming this was a Mostly Peaceful Violent Obstruction of Federal Officials.
The Democrats are engaging in a cynical, communist game of escalating violent confrontations with law enforcement. One of these days they're going to provoke one of their lunatics to kill ICE agents, or provoke ICE into beating the shit out of them.
New York City Comptroller and Democratic mayoral candidate Brad Lander was arrested by federal agents at an immigration court Tuesday after he linked arms with a person that authorities were attempting to detain.
A reporter with The Associated Press witnessed Lander's arrest at a federal building in Manhattan. The person Lander was walking out of the courtroom was also arrested.
Lander had spent the morning observing immigration court hearings and told an AP reporter that he was there to "accompany" some immigrants out of the building.

In the moments before Lander was handcuffed, agents could be seen trying to physically separate him from the man they had come to detain. Lander briefly struggled to stay close to the detainee before he was pulled away. Video taken by journalists at the scene shows that agents struggled to separate Lander from the man he'd linked arms with for more than 40 seconds before wresting the two apart.
A video of the arrest captured by an AP reporter shows an agent telling Lander, "You're obstructing."
"I'm not obstructing, I'm standing right here in the hallway," Lander said as he was being handcuffed.
Didn't Do Nuffin. The Democrat/Antifa/BLM credo.
Update: The public supports ICE and deportations.
And they want the Democrat-Media Party's Mostly Peaceful Violent Street Paramilitaries prosecuted.
A new national survey reveals the widespread appeal of President Trump's law-and-order approach to immigration enforcement.
Americans reject street violence and insist that only legal, vetted migration be permitted into our homeland.
Perhaps most tellingly, Americans overwhelmingly believe that those who use violence and interfere with law enforcement deportation operations must face criminal charges.
When asked specifically about this kind of violence in Los Angeles recently, 68% said the violators must be prosecuted. Only 21% deem such charges as "not important." Among men, 74% believe in criminal consequences, and only 18% disagree. In addition, nearly two-thirds of Hispanics (64%) demand these prosecutions.
Importantly, this poll began last Monday, June 9, just after the weekend of violence and mayhem in Los Angeles. The public feud between President Trump and Gov. Gavin Newsom of California was ongoing during the polling period of June 9-11, making this survey an especially useful barometer of public sentiment during this tension.
