Rachel Maddow: MSNBC, the Corporation That Pays Me $25 Million Per Year to Do One Hour of Work Per Week, Is an Unfathomably Racist Organization Devoted to White Supremacy
By Jove, I think she's got it!
Yes I know that Rachel Maddow is working five hours per week now, but that's only for the first 100 days of the Trump Restoration. Then she goes back to one hour per week.
In case you missed it, Joy Reid's face rained down Tears of Shame after her summary firing.
But then she delivered her final address to her tiny audience of 47,000 permanently meltbrained covid hysterics, transgender face-piercers, drag queen child groomers, and Black Hebrew racists.
She wanted to talk about, get this, fascism and how to #Resist it.
Among the civil rights she says that #Resistance has brought us? The "right to work from home."
What? That's a great civil rights victory?
"We begin tonight with what I think is the question; when you are in the midst of a crisis and specifically a crisis of democracy: How do you resist-- when fascism isn't just coming, It's already here? So, what, if anything, can you do about it?" Reid began her show Monday. "For one thing, you can try to learn from history, from what people in this situation, in countries around the world and in America have done before. As my friend Rachel Maddow always says, history is here to help."
If that didn't make you throw up enough, this video of Maddow, O'Donnell, and Niccole Wallace cooing to Joy Reid will do it for ya.
Rachel Maddow attacked her own employer MSNBC as racist for firing not one but two "non-white" anchors and demoting an Asian weekend host to boot. She calls MSNBC's efforts to advance the white race "unnerving" and "indefensible."
Why the long face, Maddow?
Was it really racism? MSNBC is a dying channel and Comcast is attempting to find some buyer to take it off their hands. They need to make MSNBC a plausible acquisition by somebody.
And as Megyn Kelly points out, Reid's ratings were terrible, just above the "slashie" level where the ratings are so tiny they don't even report them, instead marking the ratings with a "/" slash.
Emily Jashinsky makes the same point I've been making: There is no chance for MSNBC or CNN (or CBS) to reclaim a centrist, popular position. They have been fringe so long they can never get back any mainstream moderate respectability. The right path forward isn't to attempt some half-hearted, doomed appeal to the middle. The right path forward is just to continue playing to their only remaining audience of fringe violent antifa extremists. They'll just have to slash their payrolls and make their "talent" take huge pay cuts to reduce their massive expenditures to the level of their meager income.
Megyn Kelly celebrated the firing -- and the desperate unemployed troll Don LeMon made yet another clumsy obvious attention-grab to support his dying podcast by saying "F*** you" to Kelly.
Joy Reid has a history of celebrating the firing of other people. She's just a rotten person.
