Let's relax a little with the animals and leave the world of politics and current events outside today.

Meet The PetMorons
Hiya,
This is Gustav Isodore Garcia also known as Goosey. He looks serene and benign in the photo but he's a wreckless jumper and shoelace devotee. We love him madly.
You can call me SNAB or Whip Saw.
When in repose, Gustav (Goosey) looks well-loved. It is hard to tell he's a wreckless jumper and shoelace devotee, but we have seen this type of behavior emerge from a serene cat before . . .

Hello my father is a long time lurker, we have read the pet thread for many years together. My cat Jellybean passed over the rainbow bridge last December and I was hoping you could add her to an upcoming thread. Thank you for taking your time to read this email.

Jellybean is a gorgeous cat. So sorry that you and your family have lost her. Thanks for sharing the lovely photo of her.

This is Archie (the mighty Westie). He is almost 13, and is mostly just a mighty sleeper now. He is very wise (for a dog) and used to run with all the bigger dogs and nuzzle with the ladies and little girls in the neighborhood. Thanks for the weekly thread!

Awwww . . . Archie has captured my heart.

Longtime lurker, love the pet thread. This is Patrick our border collie, having a good time in the snow we just got in ohio. Super high energy, so I walk him 2 or 3 times a day and play with him in between constantly. Good for him, good for me. Moved to Ohio a year ago from mn to be closer to spouses parents. In mn, we had goats, Patrick really misses them, loved keeping them in their place.
Patrick looks like he loves to be active. It makes sense that he misses the goats.

Don't know if this counts or not since they aren't technically our pets, but for Valentine's day, Mr. B and I went to a goat happy hour, an event at a farm where you just get to hang out and play with a dozen goats. They also offer goat yoga but we're not into that. It was very cold but fun, the goats were inquisitive, friendly and liked being petted.

Well, I guess they are sort of part-time pets. Fun! Interesting idea for farmers who like to interact with city folk.

If you start feeling nostalgic, here a link to last week's Pet Thread, the Ace of Spades Pet Thread, February 15. Some special PetMoron stories and photos there.
I closed the comments on this post so you wouldn't get banned for commenting on a week-old post, but don't try it anyway.
