USAID Sent Millions of Taxpayer Dollars to George-Soros-Aligned Leftwing Causes (and Terrorists, Of Course!)

This is the biggest scandal since WWII.

Before the Trump administration closed USAID's doors, the agency regularly routed funding to causes aligned with George Soros' nonprofit empire, terrorists and drag queens.

In recent days, the Trump administration identified USAID programs ranging from contraceptives for Afghanistan to LGBT diversity programs for European countries as clear evidence that foreign aid needed to be paused and reevaluated, a task that fell to the Rubio State Department.

The development agency for years also funneled money to several nonprofit groups that also received substantial backing from components of George Soros' empire. Some previously came under scrutiny during the Obama administration for "democracy promotion" and judicial reform efforts in European countries that critics claimed promoted leftist politics.

For example, U.S. government spending records show that the East-West Management Institute, which is in part backed by Soros' Open Society Foundations, received more than $260 million over the years in grants from USAID to, among other things, promote the rule of law in Georgia, strengthen civil society in Uganda, and advance Serbia's accession talks with the European Union.

That same nonprofit group came under scrutiny during the Obama administration after Judicial Watch uncovered government records and communications showing that the East-West Management Institute's "Justice for All" campaign in Albania received $9 million in funding from USAID.

The assistance concerned several GOP Senators, who sent a letter to the newly appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in 2017, alleging the campaign funded by the U.S. government helped craft an Albanian judicial reform proposal that may "give the Prime Minister and left-of-center government full control over the judiciary."

Those same Senators also raised concerns about a similar Soros-backed program in neighboring Macedonia where they said a local affiliate called Foundation Open Society-Macedonia received backing from USAID through the Open Society Foundations and pushed "a progressive agenda."

Other Soros-backed organizations that received funding from both his Open Society Foundations network and USAID include the Anti-Corruption Action Center in Ukraine and Transparency International.

According to the group's own records, the Anti-Corruption Action Center began receiving funding from USAID the same year the Maidan Revolution overthrew Ukraine's elected, Russian-friendly President Viktor Yanukovych. The group, by its own admission, was heavily critical of Yanukovych's government and ministers, which aligned with U.S. State Department policy at the time. During the 2014 Maidan Revolution, then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland visited Ukraine and was recorded on a leaked phone call discussing how the United States could influence the formation of a new government in Kyiv.

George Soros' Open Society Foundations did not respond to a request for comment.

USAID wasn't just embezzling taxpayer money to give to George Soros -- it was also funding Klaus "Eet Zee Bugz" Schaub and the World Economic Forum.

Of course, $68 million is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to funding the WEF. The transnational elite uses hundreds or thousands of income streams that wind up in the pockets of the WEF to push ESG, eating bugs, "sustainable development," NetZero, and all the evil things the organization does, but among all those many tendrils of funding and control, USAID is a conduit of money to the technocrats of the WEF.

Who could have guessed?

ESG alone has done more to distort the allocation of capital and slow economic growth than just about anything any of our foreign adversaries aside from perhaps China have done. NetZero has been destroying the European economy, impoverishing millions of people across a continent that should be an economic powerhouse.

Before Trump purge at USAID, memo warned agency it created 'vulnerabilities' doling out foreign aid

The internal watchdog warned the agency that it was not sufficiently vetting for terrorists or getting the U.N. to comply with transparency requirements.

Just days before Elon Musk began a purge at the U.S. Agency for International Develop (USAID), the foreign aid agency was warned in a stinging memo from its own internal watchdog that it had created serious "vulnerabilities" by doling out billions of tax dollars to overseas countries and groups without fulling vetting for terrorists and fraudsters or demanding transparency from recipients of America's largesse.

The memo, which was published by the Inspector General of the U.S. Agency for International Development in late January, details some long-standing concerns about how safeguards against misuse of funds and the proper authorities to hold violators accountable are missing from the Office of Inspector General's toolbox.

"Incredibly politicized"

This memorandum "identifies vulnerabilities and challenges which we believe hinder accountability and transparency within Agency programs," Inspector General Paul Martin wrote to the acting administrator of the agency.

Fred Fleitz, a former Trump National Security Council official, told Just the News that a key concern of the administration is ensuring the money is being spent wisely and on causes benefitting U.S. interests.

"[USAID] has been incredibly politicized for leftist political goals by the Democrats. It's become a politicized boondoggle, and we saw that over the last 48--72 hours. We know that USAID officials were trying to subvert Trump's effort, or his order to freeze foreign aid for 90 days, so we can see what our tax dollars are being paid for, and is it in the interest of the United States? Is it America First?" Fleitz told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Monday.

Inspector General Martin identified three main areas of vulnerability: "Resistance from United Nations (UN) agencies and foreign-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to sharing information with OIG about potential misconduct;" "Limitations on vetting of aid organizations for ties to designated terrorist organizations and known corrupt actors;" and "Limitations in obtaining data about USAID-funded sub-awardees."

As mentioned, this is a money laundering operation where money is first laundered through relatively "clean" NGOs who then award the money to less clean NGOs who in turn then launder it to dirty NGOs. So that the CIA has plausible deniability about sending money to actual terrorist groups.

That last part -- "Limitations in obtaining data about USAID-funded sub-awardees" -- is talking about this: USAID doesn't know (or more accurately, wants to hide) who the ultimate "sub-awardees" of its grants really are.

So yes, there are "limitations in obtaining data" about the ultimate recipients of the money, because that's precisely what the rogue Marxist CIA officials want. The whole point is to hide who's getting US taxpayer dollars from US taxpayers.
