But now that President Donald Trump has been sworn into office, for sore loser Harris, it is now all about the blame game, and her target has flipped to her 'dead weight' husband.

And as she weighs her political future -- maybe a 2026 run for Governor of California or another try for the nation's top job two years later -- she has to consider whether Emhoff is an asset or a liability.

The rumor, the exquisite rumor, that Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are getting divorced was spread more widely by Meghan McCain in a podcast.

I realize that Meghan McCain is not exactly a trustworthy source.

But let me have this, damnit!!!

Conservative commentator Meghan McCain and Puck senior political correspondent Tara Palmeri poured fuel on the fire of the rumor that former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama are getting divorced in an episode of the former's podcast released on Wednesday.

"Fast and furious loud, I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people. I'm not talking about TMZ. I'm not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he's my friend. I'm talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they're hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true," said McCain to start the conversation. "Do you agree with that? Have you heard that? Do you think it's just garbage?"

"Oh yeah! I mean I've certainly heard it for awhile, even before Michelle said she wasn't coming to the inauguration, which also could be interpreted as like another act of resistance, which would only make her like more -- if that's really true and they stayed together -- like more of a baddie in the movement when like, there really is no one in the Democratic Party who is like holding that mantle aside from AOC," replied Palmeri.

"But yeah, we've heard that for a long time. Like I just heard that they live separate lives. Like, it's just, that's just what happened. But they are kind of like America's sweethearts in a lot of ways and it's, so, I think it would be devastating," added the political reporter.

Megyn Kelly alluded to this rumor in one of her bitchy gossip seshes -- no judgment, I listen to them -- with that woman from the Daily Mail.

Palmeri went on to note that the former first couple had made an Instagram post celebrating their anniversary, causing McCain to interject and declare that it was "a very weird photo, though, of her."

The photo they're talking about is below. It shows the couple, who are obviously very much in love, sitting as far apart as possible while still technically being seated at the same table and grimacing for the photo like they're hearing their biopsy results.

Perfect. Remember, the media selected him to "moderate" a Republican primary debate.

Mark Halperin notes the Democrats are leaderless. And Barack Obama was never really a leader, and certainly hasn't been for a decade.

They don't know which issues to prioritize or fight for. Having no leader also means, I'd add, they have no one in authority to tell them, "You have to let 'protecting criminal illegals' go, it's killing you."

The Democrat Party is a party of cowardice and cultishness and dares not repudiate any of its woke lunatics. We are all freed from #Cancellation by the campus lunatics, but the Democrat Party is not. They're still prisoners.

They have no courage. And without a leader with courage stepping up to lead them, they will continue to be dominated by their wokest, most racist, most trans-supremacist, most DEI, most pro-Hamas, most pro-mental-illness members.
