Bad ideas — and that’s all the left has got — cannot survive in a forum where a slob like me has the same free speech rights as a Stephen King or Bette Midler or CNNLOL or even Elon Musk. Any one of us can jump into the replies to point out the double standards, the hypocrisies, and the facts. And when you are an ideologue, when you are closed-minded, when you do not have the maturity to change your mind in the face of reality, it is intolerable to lose an argument.
This is the same reason the left has never survived or succeeded on talk radio. Left-wing ideas cannot survive in an environment where they can be challenged.

The former Top Gear star suggested Reeves and co could've targeted their new inheritance tax measures on wealthy land owners like himself rather than all farmers.
"I wouldn’t have liked it very much, but I would have understood," Clarkson wrote in The Sun, insisting that Reeves's claims that 73 percent of farms won't be affected as "nonsense".
He claimed to have met an "old school farmer" earlier this week who surpassed the £1million threshold due to the monetary value of his cattle alone, without taking into consideration his land assets.
Clarkson pointed out that because of this, the farmer's children could be forced to sell the farm to pay the taxes - and that another farmer is unlikely to be on hand to snap up the land for sale.

BTW, Clarkson's Farm is a great show. Highly recommend.

Why I Love America: A Reader’s Reflections on Why America Is a Beacon of Hope for the World

From inception, this nation has always fought for the differentiating line between what is right and what is wrong, democracy and tyranny. Today, the clarity of this line is getting foggier by the day. Despite all the opposite political views and beliefs, we as a nation are looked upon as the leader for the free world, whether we like it or not. America is looked upon as the lighthouse more than we realize—a beacon and a symbol of hope, freedom, and liberty. Anyone keeping up with current events has witnessed hope eroding in zones within our own borders and around the world. There are countries in every continent struggling to maintain their freedoms or have lost them. Despite these man-made challenges, a symbol of hope was proudly displayed when countless Hong Kong citizens waved the American flag during the 2019–2020 democracy protests. The red, white, and blue waving proudly and high showed communist rule and the rest of the world that democracy and freedom are worth fighting for.

The internal strife we are facing today has a lasting effect on the principles set forth by our Founding Fathers. The sacrifices generations before us made to ensure our freedoms are what laid the very foundation for this country, and what sets us apart from any other nation since civilization has been recorded.
