Harris will speak at the KKK rally grounds to offer the public a new argument they have not heard 47,000 bazillion times already.

Harris to call Trump 'unstable' and 'obsessed with revenge' in Ellipse speech tonight

The speech will not be solely focused on Jan. 6, but Harris will remind voters of that day.

Perfect. Nailed it.

The stupidest woman on MSNBC -- and that is saying something -- also makes me sad to look at. I think if you're stupid as a box of square marbles, you should at least be pretty. It's only fair.

Tim Walz has been trying to show how manly he is. First he showed that he didn't know how to load a shotgun during a Hunting Pageant, then he played Madden XBox football with AOC to show he really understands Young Men.

During that completely authentic display of his love for Madden football, he said that AOC really knows how to "run a pick 6."

For those of you who, like this puffy old queen, don't know what a pick 6 is: It's not a play you can run. An interception is a "pick," and "pick 6" is an interception returned for a touchdown. It's not something you "run," it's something that happens due to offensive error or good defensive anticipation. (I remember Eli Manning threw a lot of pick 6s -- he would dump off to a back in the flank when he was under pressure, and defenses knew he had this tic so they'd anticipate it and jump right in front of the intended receiver when he threw it.)

Anyway, Walz wants you to know he's a Real Man's Masculine Man by talking about football in much the same way as my Great Aunt Bertha does.

Tim Walz dropped a wide-open pass on NFL Sunday.

The Minnesota governor and Democratic vice presidential candidate livestreamed himself playing video games with Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in an appeal to younger male voters -- only to be mocked after misusing a common football term.

Walz, a former defensive coordinator at Mankato West High School, tweeted afterward that the far-left Bronx and Queens rep "could run a mean pick 6" -- referring to an interception returned for a touchdown -- in the Madden video game series.

The post was later deleted, but not before conservatives jumped on the malapropism.

"This was a real deleted tweet from alleged football coach Tampon Tim. 'Can run a mean pick 6' Lmfao," commentator Greg Price wrote on X.

There are plays you could run with a better than usual chance of resulting in an interception. You could put in the "nickel" package of five defensive backs, or the "dime" package of... six defensive backs. (Pro footballers don't understand how money works.) You could blitz the quarterback in hopes of forcing an errant throw.

But you can't "run a pick 6." It's like saying "We're running a fumble."

Hag slag Andrea Mitchell is finally quitting her daily show on January 3rd. I assume this means she'll still appear as a commentator or for "special events."

From John Ralston's early vote blog:

Updated, 9:15 PM, 10/28/24

Good evening, blog mates.

Monday's numbers gave another large boost to Republicans, increasing their statewide ballot lead over Democrats to 40,000, or 5.7 percent. This has never happened, not even close, in The Reid Machine Era.

700,000 ballots have now been posted, so at least half the vote is in, perhaps a little more. And some trends seem to be embedded after 10 of 14 days. Note: The Tuesday of the second week also has traditionally been a good day for Republicans in in-person early voting. Monday's followed the 2020 pattern , with a GOP+4,000 result (actually slightly better than 2020).

Updated, 6:15 AM, 10/29/24

Good morning, blog mates.

Small Clark mail update overnight put small dent in GOP advantage. Latest:

GOP has 38,000 ballots more than Dems, 5.3 percent lead.

250,000 mail ballots in from Clark, but 457,000 received in 2020 after all said and done.

Dems: Waiting for Mail.

More later...

Tom Emmer says that Minnesota is on the bubble -- a new poll shows only a 2.6% lead for Governor Pick 6 and his drunk whore of a running mate.

The GOP has taken the lead in in-person early voting in... New Jersey. But note this is just the in-person early vote, not the combined in-person early vote and the mail-in vote. Apparently Dems have a cushion in mail-in votes.

Insight Polls @insight__polls

New Jersey Early In Person Vote:

GOP: 144,105 (38.0%) +4,581
Dem: 139,524(36.8%)
Ind: 95,447 (25.2%)

BREAKING IN NEW JERSEY:

GOP jump out into the turnout lead with in person early vote (IPEV), with day #3 netting them +7,380. This will start eating into the mail in ballot (MB) delta if it continues.

Don't get too excited. But yes, New Jersey Republicans should certainly vote as if it's a 1% race, because it just might wind up being that.

Elon Musk @elonmusk

The Republican lead in North Carolina almost doubled from yesterday!

Rumor has it that the Kamala campaign is shifting resources to shore up Virginia, which means they're worried about losing Virginia.

Let's make even the blue states red!

Yeah this is a weird rumor which I'm not ready to buy into because it makes no sense: As John Ekdahl mentions, Kamala's current best swing state, per the polls, is NC, where she's (allegedly) nursing a 0.5% lead. Wisconsin is very close. Why pull out of these two states to defend Virginia?

I mean, if Virginia needs defending, then certainly NC and WI do.

Like I said, I don't know whether to believe this. Ed Morrissey discusses the rumors here.

The story -- or cover story, I don't know -- is that Harris is reducing spending on "traditional" ads by almost $2 million in NC so that she can use that money to target women in particular via outlets women frequent. Like... ads in shopping centers or something. (No, really.)

Kamala raised over a billion, outraising Trump 2-to-1, so I don't know why she has to pick and choose where she spends her money. Maybe she's planning an Obama-like purchase of a half hour on network tv? No idea.

Looks like CBS 60 Minutes has another major new editing and now a censorship controversy on its hands.

Tom Homan, former acting ICE director under Trump, says 60 Minutes made massive edits & censored its 2-hour intvw w Homan because it had a biased agenda to attack Trump about deportations & to protect Biden-Harris. Homan says 60 Minutes came into the intvw w a pre-determined angle about fascism, but that it edited out what he said about deporting terrorists caught crossing and violent criminal illegal aliens and gang members.

That includes, he says, editing out his info on deporting criminal illegal aliens and gang members accused of murder, rape, armed robbery, kidnapping, sex and drug trafficking and more.

60 Minutes still has not released its transcript of its controversial interview with Kamala Harris, where it edited out her "word salads." It has released transcripts of its interview with Trump, former AG Bill Barr & Fed Chair Jerome Powell.

Here's Homan with us tonight on the @EveningEdit
-

"First, I sat for almost two hours during a very contentious interview."

"I went in to talk about why we need a secure border. The damage they (Biden-Harris) have done to this country, why this is such a huge national security issue."

"Of course, most of that didn't make it to the final cut."

Liz: "And what didn't make it to the final cut? What did they cut out."

Tom: "About the national security threat on the border. About how many, you know, suspected terrorists
have been arrested crossing the border. People on terrorist watch lists."

(60 Minutes) "also edited out the amount of fentanyl coming across that killed a quarter million Americans. They (edited out) a 600% increase in sex trafficking. I talked about all of this."

"We didn't talk about, you know, the criminals and the gang members that have come across, Tren de Aragua, they didn't talk about everything that's meaningful to the American people."

"We talked about it, but it didn't make the final cut."

"It's almost a two-hour interview. We talked about all of that, Liz."

He says he told them about illegal aliens "from 181 different countries" crossing, but he says 60 Minutes edited that out, too.

"But they (60 Minutes) came in with a plan. They wanted to show that this massive deportation operation was going to be inhumane. It was going to separate families."

"It's going to be, you know, akin to the Nazis. And that's why I spent so much time with them explaining how this would be a well-targeted enforcement plan to protect this country and remove national security threats and criminal alien threats." But all of that got edited out.

I like that Noted Vulgarian and Neo-Confederate Rick Wilson showed off his moral outrage.
