FIIGMO here, regular reader, occasional commenter, so I am uncertain about Moron/Lurker status. Regardless, here's a photo of the new Leader of Team FIIGMO - - Tess, the mini Aussie Labradoodle. Sweet and when not sweet (infrequent), a sabre-toothed mini-monster.
UNSOLICITED ADVICE DEPARTMENT: Are you in your mid-70's? Think hard about getting a puppy. Just sayin'.
Tess does look pretty sweet. Hope she's not a monster too often. Perhaps The Horde has some tips.

This is my Bella, about age 15 years. Tearfully my daughter and I had to say goodbye to her on June 3rd. Her body began to fail rapidly and on an early Monday morning, she had a seizure and I knew that it was time. This was done by a local Vet who came to our home and we held her as she went on to her beautiful new world. She loved food/treats and swims in the Colorado River. She had an enduring friendship with our house cats and any human she met. She was my constant comfort during the worst time in my life when we lost our son and was a daily reminder of the simple beauty and love that our pets give us freely without reservation.

Condolences on your heartbreaking loss of Bella. What a lovely dog. Stay in touch.

This little fella is named, Coach. He's 3 1/2 months old and like a lot of Dals, a rescue from a home that couldn't keep him.
He's been staying with us, here in the Low Country of SC for a little over a week as preparations are.made.to transport him south to a new furever home in Florida, arranged and coordinated by Dalmatian Rescue of South Florida.
He's a romp a half when awake, but a snuggle slut when it's sleepy time.
We're going to miss the little spud but we know he's on his way to a wonderful and loving family.

An interesting story and a sweet visitor! What a face!

Sua Ponte has several pets. But these are unusual, and we're posting them today:
Seems the chickens were interested in giving me a few pointers on precision shooting.

File this under, Things I NEVER expected to see. Walking our year-old mutt Ruby George in our field, and up pops this fawn that starts playing and pawing (hoofing?) at the goofy mutt. It went on for a good 5 minutes, before I realized I had my phone/camera with me. After ten I finally had to verbally drag Ruby away as a thunderstorm was moving in.
(The name Ruby George came from when she would act up as a puppy, Mrs. Realanator would say "What are we going to do with her". I would answer in a true moron voice, "you're going to hug her and love her and call her George". It Stuck)
Dandor the Realanator is my nic
Well, I never expected to see that, either! Ruby George must be an exceptional dog.
