Seven Years Later, "Fact-Checking" Site Snopes Gets Around to Fact-Checking the "Fine People on Both Sides" Hoax

I'm sure Fake Jake Tapper will highlight this on his little-watched daily propaganda show.
Former President Trump's 2024 campaign said that President Biden lied following Snopes debunking Biden and other Democrats' claims about Trump's 2017 press conference related to the Charlottesville "Unite the Right" rally."The Charlottesville lie was another hoax perpetuated by the corrupt Democrats and their mouthpieces in the fake news media, just like the Hunter Biden laptop, the Russian collusion scandal and so many others, all in an attempt to smear President Trump. Joe Biden's campaign must end any advertising that pushes this lie because President Trump has, once again, been proven right," said Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt, according Fox News.
The Snopes' fact check story said: "In a news conference after the rally protesting the planned removal of a Confederate statue, Trump did say there were "very fine people on both sides," referring to the protesters and the counterprotesters. He said in the same statement he wasn't talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be 'condemned totally.'"

The FactCheck.org analysis points out that Trump had issued a statement from the White House where he referred to "KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans."
The article notes that Biden loves spreading this Dangerous Russian Disinformation.
