Good afternoon hobbyists. The only political statement to be made here today is the opening photo. No politics or current events. The photo submitted is a reminder to me that we haven't covered the hobby of off-roading with All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) or Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs). Originally the game got started with the introduction of mini-bikes to Honda's 3-Wheel ATC then on to '4 wheelers' (ATVs.) From there things just got bigger and more expensive. Did things get better? I don't know, I've been riding 4 wheelers since 1995. (Get off my lawn and ATV trail).
So The Fabulous and I are involved this weekend with some club activities. Things happen fast here when the Frozen Tundra thaws out.

Speaking of the sun and thaw. How about this past week's eclipse? Regular commenter and all around good 'ette sent me the following to share with you folks.
I don't know if you have access to Facebook or not, but here are some pics I got today while "spraying and praying". Read the explanation and the comments for more info:
Feel free to post these on the blog!
I have some others of the eclipse as it happened. I don't know how I got the ones in the FB post - I just put my eclipse glasses over my phone's camera lens, magnified everything about 20X, and watched it all happen over my camera.
I didn't even know I had gotten those shots until much later; the thumbnails didn't seem all that special
Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good Teresa. Pretty awesome advent you witnessed.

More gorgeous scenery. Hiking is a pretty inexpensive hobby. Unless you are klutz like me then the ER visits start racking up.
I received the following video and short letter from the following Lurker.
MisHum,
If you'd like, you can use any of my videos for the Hobby Thread. Should you choose to do so, please simply credit me as being a AoS lurker.
Here's a few you might like, but feel free to peruse my channel and use what you want:

Are you passionate about your hobby? Well we have one 'ron who is. Let's take a look at Tom.
Hi Mishum
I'm not sure some days if this is a form of art or just an expensive hobby. Been doing it for a long time, however. My new friend Craig and I, both solo performers, have also got together and formed a little duo called The Dyllingers to do a few gigs of Dylan songs.
Cheers Tom
