Biden's Lyin' and Biden's Cryin' (and Then He Goes Back to Hidin')

Three Americans were killed due to Biden's grant of carte blanche to the terror mullahs of Iran, to attack US troops 160+ times without any reprisal.

Biden's plan was just to hope these relentless attacks never managed to kill any US troops.

Hope is not a plan, as you may have heard, and now three Americans are dead.

David Strom writes that even the c***s***er New York Times admits that Biden's refusal to check Iran encouraged them to keep attacking us until the took American lives.

The New York Times has an analysis written by Peter Baker that exposes just how feckless the Biden Administration has been in dealing with Iranian proxies.

The lede makes it blindingly obvious that Biden and his administration knew that American troops would get killed. Yet their responses to the nearly 200 attacks on Americans since 10/7 have been "carefully calibrated"--read weak--in the vain hope that showing restraint would somehow, magically, prevent the day that Americans would die from coming.

It doesn't work like that. When you signal to an enemy that they can attack with impunity, they will.

Biden had made it crystal clear that Iran could direct its proxies to attack Americans without paying a price--even its proxies haven't paid much of a price--so of course, Iran took the opportunity offered them.

This was the day that President Biden and his team had feared for more than three months, the day that relatively low-level attacks by Iranian proxy groups on American troops in the Middle East turned deadly and intensified the pressure on the president to respond in kind.

With three American service members killed and two dozen more injured by a drone in Jordan, Mr. Biden must decide how far he is willing to go in terms of retaliation at the risk of a wider war that he has sought to avoid ever since the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas touched off the current Middle East crisis.

Until now, the president had carefully calibrated his responses to the more than 150 attacks by Iranian-backed militias on American forces in the region since Oct. 7. He essentially ignored the majority that were successfully intercepted or did little to no damage while authorizing limited U.S. strikes focused mainly on buildings, weapons and infrastructure after attacks that were more brazen, most notably against the Houthis in Yemen who have targeted shipping in the Red Sea.

Let that sink in. At no point in this conflict has Biden done anything proactively to give Iran pause and to induce them to rethink their strategy. They knew Iran was going to bring things to this point, yet they struck buildings and ignored anything thrown at us or others if no damage was caused.

Yet if they throw enough stuff at us, something will hit.

Something did.

Now that American blood has been spilled, Biden can indulge his favorite past-time: Lying about Beau Biden being killed in honorable combat.

Biden, of course, always lies about Beau's death when he's pretending to comfort grieving parents of actual heroes.

On to the crying: Biden's angry that Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to give him money to protect Ukraine's border while doing nothing to protect America's, so he uses the cover of the National Prayer Breakfast to stage a maudlin call for a "truce," by which Biden means: Pass the bill I want and give me the money I demand for my foreign patrons in Ukraine, and you'll get nothing in return.

Biden sheds tears and calls for truce, telling Republican Speaker Mike Johnson 'We must not be enemies' as they listen to Andrea Bocelli sing 'Amazing Grace' at National Prayer Breakfast in Washington

'We have really tough, tough differences,' Biden said. 'We really go at one another. Remember, let's remember who the hell we are who we are.'

It was their first public appearance together

President Joe Biden said lawmakers 'must not be enemies' as he appeared in public for the first time with House Speaker Mike Johnson at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday.

'We have really tough, tough differences,' Biden said. 'We really go at one another. Remember, let's remember, who the hell we are who we are.'

Who we are are Americans. It would be wise for Biden and the Democrats to occasionally remember that. We are not Ukrainians, Mexicans, Salvadorians, Peruvians, or Palestinians.

...

The two men sat next to each other in the front row and each teared up when Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang 'Amazing Grace.' Both Johnson and Biden were seen wiping away a tear.

The National Prayer Breakfast is a yearly event where the president and elected officials come together to pray.

In his remarks, Biden offered his prayers to the families of the three soldiers killed in Jordan over the weekend, for those being held hostage in Gaza and for the people of the Ukraine.

But he also offered poignant words to the lawmakers sitting together in Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol building. Both Democrats and Republicans attended the event.

'This is a calling to stand against hate,' he said, noting the animosity in politics and in the world.

After you, Alphonse.

This guy demonizes MAGA normie voters as terrorists, but he says he wants us to "stand against hate."

'We must not be enemies,' he noted. 'I've long believed we have to look at each other, even on our most challenging times, not as enemies but as fellow Americans.'

'My prayer, my hope is we continue to believe our best days are ahead of us as a nation. We continue to believe in honesty, decency, dignity and respect. We see each other not as enemies but as fellow human beings.'

You've never believed that in your life.

But Pop-Pop Poopypants squirted a couple so sure, let's do all the things you want to do.

Here's the rendition of Amazing Grace by Andrea Bocelli. People seem to like it but for me... it's just aiight, dog.
