Quote I

“We’re not here to make money,” Sibley Morrison, Springfield Preparatory School Principal

Quote II

“His hands were bruised, his knees are bruised, his face is bruised, and yet he had two shots to his back, and yet they never took anything …

“They didn’t finish robbing him, they just took his life.” Mother of Seth Rich

Quote III

I offer my sincere apologies to the Bishop, the Diocese, my faithful parishioners and all of you for this shameful representation, which I whole-heartedly renounce. I ask that following the very example of Christ's forgiveness, you find it possible to forgive my oversight in this unfortunate matter, Monsignor Jamie J. Gigantiello

Before we get the daily grind of current events, how about a happy story? Drug designed to extend dogs' lives takes major step toward FDA approval

A drug that could extend large dogs' lifespans and help keep them healthier as they age is one step closer to coming to the market.

Why it matters: Bigger dogs live shorter lives than smaller dogs "by nearly half," notes a statement from Loyal for Dogs, which announced Tuesday that the drug it's developing, LOY-001, had cleared a key FDA regulatory hurdle required in the approval process.

It's a nice feature, I guess. But, I won't be using it.

I go to thrift stores including Goodwill looking for books. I have a hard time purchasing a book for $4.99 when the yard sale sticker of $2.00 was still on it. I guess I am not the only one.

Woman Flabbergasted At Goodwill Prices, Calls Them Out By Sharing Real Examples

Thrifting isn’t quite what it used to be. Some fans of buying their clothes secondhand are finding it quite difficult to get a good deal. At least in some popular stores.

TikTok content creator, cosplayer, and Twitch streamer Essie (@essielesse) went viral for calling out the charitable non-profit organization Goodwill for massively hiking up its clothes and knick-knack prices. The video started an important discussion about the future of thrifting. Scroll down for the full video.

New $2 Million Water Fountain in Vienna Slammed as World’s Ugliest

A new water fountain in the Austrian city of Vienna has been described as the ugliest in Europe, possibly the world, despite costing 1.8 million euros ($2 million).

Created by the avantgarde Viennese art group Gelitin, the Austrian capital’s newest water fountain was commissioned by local authorities to commemorate 150 years of Vienna’s modern water system which provided the city with fresh water from streams in the green forests of the Alps and helped eradicate plagues like cholera.

It's a funny thing. Whistle blowers are a good thing or a bad thing depending on the frequency of the whistle apparently.

A U.S. Navy medical officer has blown the whistle and gone public with explosive internal data regarding surges of serious health issues among vaccinated military personnel.

Lieutenant Ted Macie has selflessly waived anonymity in order to raise the alarm about the startling number of troops suffering potentially fatal heart-related problems.

Macie is currently serving as an officer in the Navy Medical Service Corps.

He has now bravely come forward as a whistleblower and disclosed Department of Defense (DOD) data that suggests a notable increase in heart-related problems among military pilots after receiving the COVID-19 mRNA injections.

Lieutenant Macie, who also serves as a Navy Health Administrator and Medical Recruiter, presented these discoveries in a recent video.

Pretty quiet claim, I didn't see anything of this on the MSM sites. But then again, I didn't break my neck looking for them.
