Terror Bombing at the Niagra Bridge

A car sped into the opposite lane and crashed into the tollbooths, and then exploded.

A car exploded at a checkpoint on a Niagara Falls bridge connecting the US and Canada Wednesday, killing its two occupants -- and the FBI is investigating the blast as an attempted terror attack, according to a report.

The car was heading into the US when it hit a barrier near the checkpoint area around 11:15 a.m. on the Rainbow Bridge, breaking into several pieces, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The driver had been waved through past one checkpoint, and then accelerated and hit the barrier at the second checkpoint, sources said.

The two occupants, whose identities have not been released, are dead, the sources told The Post. A border officer was also injured.

The bridge has been closed as the FBI investigates the blast as an attempted terror attack, sources told Fox News.

Explosives were uncovered in the vehicle, the sources said.

The car was allegedly going 100 mph when it crashed, according to a witness.
