The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

"I didn't know where to look at, the driver, 18-wheeler, the cops, everything was just moving so fast," Motorist Zack Shami

Quote II

“I just feel like I’m doing things that I feel like really need to be said. I try to do it in a way that hopefully more people will notice it.” Senator John Fetterman (D-PA)

Quote III

"This combination ultimately crushed our progress at the same time that it was crushing our logical strategic acquirer — it was the perfect storm." Convoy co-founder and CEO Dan Lewis

Quote IV

“After careful review of the evidence, based on the totality of the circumstances, we’ve determined that the case does not rise to the level of a felony filing,” Los Angeles County DA George Gascón

When it comes time for Mr. Gascon to meet his maker, I hope the trip is so vile and painful that meds can't touch it. And his doctor is a young woman by the name of Kassidy Jones.

Slowly by drips and drops the Nashville Trans Shooter's manifesto is being revealed. Talk about hatred.

Nashville Trans Shooter’s Manifesto Revealed.

Audrey Hale, the transgender adult responsible for killing six people at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year, was motivated by anti-white hatred, according to leaked photographs of his manifesto. Audrey’s manifesto, publicly shown by conservative commentator Steven Crowder on Monday, is littered with various racial slurs and expletives towards the people he intended to kill on March 27, including “kill those kids!!!,” “those crackers,” and “bunch of little faggots [with] your white privileges.”

How much time has been spent on lithium batteries for our "Green Lives"? Can it be too much?

Firms are exploring sodium batteries as an alternative to lithium

Unlike lithium, sodium is cheap and abundant

They power tiny phones and two-tonne electric cars. They form the guts of a growing number of grid-storage systems that smooth the flow of electricity from wind and solar power stations. Without them, the electrification needed to avoid the worst effects of global warming would be unimaginable. And in 2019 they earned three of their pioneers a Nobel prize.

But lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries have downsides. Lithium is scarce, for one. And the best Li-ion batteries, those with layered-oxide cathodes, also require cobalt and nickel. These metals are scarce, too—and cobalt is also problematic because a lot of it is mined in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where working conditions leave much to be desired. A second sort of Li-ion battery, a so-called

I'm not a President MushHead fan. And most of his foreign policy sucks badly. But after all, he is the POTUS and the State Department works for him. If you see it differently don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out. You too can run for public office.

Part of President Biden's political team is in turmoil over the Israel-Hamas war, as some aides see the White House as abetting an immoral attack on Palestinians — while others believe Biden is showing "moral clarity" in protecting Israel from terrorists.

Why it matters: The strife within the Democratic National Committee (DNC) — which Biden is leaning on for his re-election campaign — reflects larger generational and political divisions among Democrats.

Those divisions are chiefly between older pro-Israel Democrats and younger progressives who are more sympathetic to the plight of Palestinians.
Their differences have been exposed by the war in Gaza that began Oct. 7, after Hamas' surprise attack on Israel killed 1,400 people. Israel's counter-attacks in Gaza have killed more than 9,000 people, the Palestinian Ministry of Health claims.

Speaking of foreign policy, President Trump acts presidential, for a change.

Trump Declines Zelenskyy's Invite to Kyiv

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited former President Donald Trump to Ukraine on Sunday to see the scale of the war for himself, but Trump respectfully declined in a statement to Newsmax.

"I have great respect for President Zelenskyy, but think it would be inappropriate to go to Ukraine at this time," Trump wrote in a statement responding to Zelenskyy's invite made on NBC's "Meet the Press." "The Biden administration is currently dealing with him, and I would not want to create a conflict of interest."

Zelenskyy's invite was a counter to Trump's long-running claim he could solve the Russia war in Ukraine in "24 hours." Zelenskyy said he would just need "24 minutes" to prove to Trump that was not possible.

I don't have this problem. And I probably never will. That's OK. I have enough to deal with.

What to Do If You Find a Problem With Your Brand New Car
The papers are signed and you've driven off the lot. Now what?

When purchasing a used car, it’s understood that a certain amount of homework will be involved—looking into things like its mileage, title, and value, as well as whether there are any exterior issues, or problems under the hood.

However, as discussed in a recent Lifehacker post, brand new cars can get damaged prior to being sold, and for that reason, it’s important to check for problems before signing a contract and driving one off the lot.

But let’s say you don’t spot the damage until you’ve already brought the vehicle home. Here’s how to handle the situation.

What to do if you find a problem with your new car

An unusual way to go.

What brings you to prison Giovanni Impellizzeri? Obviously extreme hatred of his job. Genius Award Winner.

A New Jersey school custodian used bleach and “personal bodily fluids” to contaminate food products and utensils intended for elementary school students, investigators allege.

Giovanni Impellizzeri, 25, is facing multiple felony counts after allegedly recording himself “performing sexual acts with items from the school.”

Impellizzeri, seen at right, posted “extremely disturbing videos” to Telegram, prompting several tips to be sent to officials with the Elizabeth F. Moore School in Upper Deerfield.

As detailed in a shocking probable cause affidavit, videos obtained by police showed Impellizzeri using “various utensils and items from the school to wipe his penis, testicles, and anus.” Additionally, he could be seen “masturbating and urinating on pillows and kitchen bowls” and spraying bleach on cucumbers later served to students.

I believe everyone is born with curiosity and a creative imagination. Some people bring those traits out in people. It's nice to see it being done in the classroom. Tonight's Feel Good Story of The Day.

Dallas, Texas — At the Trinity Leadership School near Dallas, Texas, Sonja White's first graders are still flying high, reliving their amazing one-day field trip to Mexico.

"It was my first time on a plane," one student told CBS News.

How could a school afford such a trip? What kind of teacher does it take to fly a class of first graders south of the border for a day?

A very clever one. Because, in fact, the students did not actually board a flight to Mexico at all.

Instead, the "trip" was a testament to the power of imagination, and the magic teachers have to harness it.
