New Orleans District Attorney Jason Williams was carjacked at gunpoint on Monday in his own city, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Williams was walking his 78-year-old mother to his car when two suspects approached the pair, pointed a gun at them and demanded the DA's car, according to WVUE. The suspects then jumped into the car and drove off before abandoning the vehicle in an undisclosed location and carjacking a young woman in the area 30 minutes later, the NOPD confirmed.

"DA Williams and his mother were unharmed and both thank the NOPD for their hard work tonight and every night responding to crime victims," Keith Lampkin, spokesperson for the DA's office, told WVUE.

The DA was elected in 2020 after George Soros donated $220,000 to the Louisiana Justice and Public Safety PAC to run campaigns against Williams' opponent, according to the Capital Research Center.

The ADL immediately denounced this inarguable fact as an antisemitic conspiracy theory.

Despite 20 years of investment, women make up only 20 percent of engineering students and tenure-track faculty

The National Science Foundation has tapped a set of scholars to study one of its programs that funneled $365 million into diversifying STEM, but appears to have had little effect in the field of engineering.

The $300,000 grant doled out by the National Science Foundation will investigate factors influencing Broadening Participation Initiatives, or BPIs, which aim to increase the participation of women and other underrepresented groups in STEM.

The grant was recently awarded to the University at Buffalo's Matilde Sánchez-Peña, an assistant professor of engineering education.

An article published by the University at Buffalo's news center highlights how Sánchez-Peña and her colleagues will use their recently awarded NSF grant to "study why, despite 20 years of investment, woman [sic] make up only 20% of engineering students and tenure-track faculty."

The award abstract for the project states Sánchez-Peña and her colleagues plan to focus on efforts tied to the NSF's ADVANCE program, a BPI they describe as "exemplary" and "well-established."

The goal of ADVANCE, according to the NSF website, "is to increase the representation and advancement of women in academic science and engineering careers, thereby contributing to the development of a more diverse science and engineering workforce."

"ADVANCE encourages institutions of higher education and the broader science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) community ... to address various aspects of STEM academic culture and institutional structure that may differentially affect women faculty and academic administrators," the site states.

At the time of the program's twentieth anniversary in 2021, the NSF reported it had invested over $365 million in the program and had distributed funds to "217 different institutions of higher education in 48 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico."

In their award abstract, Sánchez-Peña and her colleagues state that through their project they intend to "create a comprehensive theoretical model of the complex dynamics and distinct configurations of factors that lead to the outcomes targeted by a BPI" and "refine the theory of drivers and barriers to the BPI goals."

LOL: New Mexico prosecutors to re-file criminally negligent homicide charges against Alec Baldwin.

If you remember, they dropped charges when a report claimed that the gun might have been "modified" so it could have just fired itself, as Alec Baldwin maintains. Or maybe a Ghost pulled the trigger.

But then they got a new report that said "No, guns don't fire themselves, and Ghosts commit 70% fewer murders than US-born living citizens," and so they're refiling charges.

New Mexico prosecutors intend to recharge actor Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the fatal 2021 "Rust" shooting, two sources familiar with the matter tells NBC News.

The source adds that Baldwin's case will be brought before a grand jury in mid-November. There had been recent discussions of a plea deal, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

One of the sources tells NBC News that after further investigation, prosecutors no longer believe the gun had been modified and have found new evidence that they believe connects Baldwin to recklessness around safety standards on the set.

You're not going to believe this, but Hamas has been stealing humanitarian aid to use for their War of Terrorism.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, located in Gaza, was robbed recently, with a large stockpile of fuel being taken.

According to the UNRWA, which put out a statement on Monday, trucks purporting to be from the "Ministry of Health" from the "de facto authorities in Gaza" removed the fuel and medical equipment from the organization's staging area.

Who are the "de facto authorities in Gaza?" That would be Hamas, though the UN agency is very careful not to mention them by name because they have long been quasi-allies. Not surprisingly, soon after the thread was posted, it was deleted.

Israeli Minister Israel Katz responded by saying that aid should not be sent to Gaza until Hamas is eliminated.

Or in other words - Hamas is robbing the "humanitarian aid" to the Palestinian people. There's no reason to give them anything until we eliminate Nazi Hamas.
