The Morning Report — 9/27/23

Good morning, kids. The big story this morning is mass organized terrorism in Philadelphia over the sane decision to drop murder charges for a cop who shot and killed some scumbag who pulled a knife on him during a routine traffic stop. That of course is not the real heart of the story. That is a myth, equally to the fiction that what is happening is both spontaneous and justified. What's going on is organized, anarcho-terrorism straight up.

Mass looting is being reported all over Philadelphia tonight. There are accounts of Center City stores being cleaned out by looters, including Lululemon, the Apple Store, a Foot Locker near the Liberty Bell, and many others . . .

. . . According to a Twitter/X post from PhillyCrimeUpdate, emergency response switchboards are lit up with calls. . .

. . . There are unconfirmed reports of looters livestreaming their crimes, monitoring police scanners, and coordinating their efforts on social media. . .

. . . Not surprisingly, the District Attorney’s Office, headed by Soros DA Larry Krasner, announced that it would appeal the decision. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney inflamed the situation by tweeting his support for the man who pulled a knife on police officers:

My thoughts are with Eddie Irizarry’s family and loved ones today as they continue to seek justice and answers around his death. I trust @philadao will do everything in its power to pursue justice and accountability.

No doubt any criminals arrested tonight will be back on the streets without hours if not minutes. It was just a few years ago that the Philadelphia City Council cut $33 million from the police budget. Krasner’s office stopped requiring cash bail for a wide range of crimes, including theft and receiving stolen property, in 2019. According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, “Krasner… believes the policy is making Philadelphia safer in the long term: ‘When you don’t tear apart people’s lives, and when you keep them in contact with the things that keep them on course, they are less likely to commit crimes in the future.'”

How’s that working out for Philly, Larry? As of 11:45 p.m., looting is ongoing in the City of Brotherly Love, and police are struggling to keep up with all the reports.

Honestly, my give-a-shit-ometer is barely registering. And I have many friends and acquaintances who live in or near Center City and in the outlying burbs, along with an abiding affection for that town. At least the town as it was years ago. Sorry to friends and family and others who voted for this as well as that overgrown, slovenly brain-addled sloth loping around the Senate and toking on spliffs in the cloak room, election after election. You got exactly what you voted for so enjoy it, my erstwhile friends. I pray you all wake the hell up and fast. I fear you never will even if you should come face to face with these poor innocent victims of institutional white supremacy. I've got news for you; flashing your BLM t-shirt won't shield you.

Elsewhere, despite the trappings of refinement, decorum and civility, the law of the jungle is still the order of the day:

A far-left, Democrat judge in New York has ruled that he knows more about the value of the business empire of former President Donald Trump than his banks, business partners, accountants, employees, and insurers. Judge Arthur Engoron, a life-long leftist lawyer, ruled Tuesday that Trump and his company deceived people, even though two-page disclaimers were included in financial statements to make clear such valuations were internal estimates. . .

. . . Judge Engoron’s ruling is likely to cause a shockwave across New York in general, with many firms now likely to review how they handle their financial estimates and information if the government alongside the far left judiciary is left in charge of interpreting their finances.

The ruling sets the stage for a non-jury trial beginning on October 2, in which Engoron will decide on remaining claims and any potential punishments. Trump’s lawyers argue there was no evidence of public harm caused by Trump’s actions, and that some of the allegations were even barred by the statute of limitations. The leftist judge refused to throw out the case.

Engoron. Sounds like a cerberus made up of Erdogan, Enron and Gorgon. Emphasis mine, since this will have nothing to do solely with accounting practices but with political inclinations and donations. Farther down the line, this whole thing reeks of the hiring of 80,000 IRS agents which is meant to do the same thing to John Q. Citizen should he or she support any candidate or political/cultural organization that is "counter-revolutionary."

So in Philly, junta-approved (if not directly or indirectly funded) street enforcers go on a rampage in furtherance of an ideological goal that helps said junta keep the citizenry in check/fear with the goal of having them surrender their freedom in return for the promise of security. And here, we have junta-owned/allied pseudo-jurists and prosecutors targeting their chief political enemy – the personification of Nemesis and the closest thing to an existential threat that they have faced in over a century – for destruction because he temporarily halted their plans and to prevent him and others like him from ever rising again.

To paraphrase Sesame Street, "Two of these things are just like each other."

Meanwhile, Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants stumbled down the stairs to join the UAW strikers on the picket line. More than ironic, it's galling considering his, that is his handlers' policies are what caused the historic walkout in the first place.

During his 12-minute visit with UAW members in Wayne County, Michigan, Biden spoke for only 87 seconds and did not mention his EV agenda or even attempt to sell it as a bonus for auto workers. Biden left the strike to jet off to California for a blitz of fundraisers with wealthy donors, some with connections to Hollywood. . .

. . . Last week, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) blasted Biden for his EV mandates, warning that such a rapid transition to green energy will ultimately offshore the U.S. auto industry to China.

“The more the Big Three’s business model relies on global supply chains and non-union labor, the less the UAW can effectively push for higher wages,” Vance wrote in an op-ed. “Their leverage decreases every time a consumer buys a car made without an Ohio worker, and yet the policies of the Biden [junta] are explicitly designed to shift the auto industry offshore.”

12 minutes and only emitting sounds – to call it speaking is a stretch – for 87 whole seconds before stumbling back into the AF-1 cargo hold to head out to the Goldenshowers State for campaign cash.

Joe Biden going to the picket line is the moral equivalent of Jeffrey Dahmer taking a Tupperware container of "leftovers" to the families of his victims. Screw what the UAW leadership thinks because his endorsement is in the bag, but if the rank and file vote for whoever the Democrat nominee will be, they can all strip naked, put on blackface and go to Center City Philly during the looting and sing a rousing chorus of "Dixie."

As an aside, J.D. Vance is yet another lone voice of sanity in the GOP both here and in his comments on the situation in Ukraine, among other things. I have high hopes for him, so don't screw it up J.D.

Anyway, I said, whoever the Democrat nominee will be because Biden for sure cannot last, either medically or politically. And that brings us to the question of his replacement, which raises the ugly specter of you-know-who:

Debate is raging about whether Michelle Obama will step in to save the day for Democrats if both Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are yanked from the top of the ticket. Meanwhile, though, Michelle isn’t letting any grass grow under her feet. Instead, she jetted off to Munich to give a single speech, in exchange for which she collected 700,000 euros, which is equivalent to over $740,000. Given how rich the Obamas are, one has to wonder about her price tag…although I have some guesses.

I’m not a Michelle Obama fan. She came from an affluent black Chicago family; got into the Ivy Leagues (probably through affirmative action, given the childishly poor quality of her bachelor’s thesis); obtained jobs for which she was not qualified and that required no work but nevertheless paid her very, very well; and ended up as America’s First Lady for eight years. Along the way, she and her husband amassed at least $70 million, a wealth package that includes three mansions, one in D.C., one in Martha’s Vineyard, and one in Hawaii. . .

. . . Here’s the reason I don’t like her: Despite her wealth and prestige, Michelle Obama is a woman who feels that life has done her wrong. She’s a race hustler who waves her skin color around like an angry flag. If you don’t worship at her feet, it’s not because you dislike her values or her personality. It’s because you’re part of a systemically racist, capitalist, American system that offends her to the core, despite her having benefitted from that same capitalist, American system in a way few people ever have or will.

That anger and greed may explain why Michelle happily accepted over $740,000 for a one-hour “diversity and inclusion” speech to a group of entrepreneurs in Munich. . .

Despite her lack of any accomplishments whatsoever and her sulky persona, Michelle Obama is enormously popular on the left. She’s especially popular with the left’s two most fanatic demographics: neurotic white and black women.

If she really is running, then $740,000 in her pocket now is a small price to pay for influence in the White House. As with those huge book deals Democrats always get, these are not market-based price tags for valuable products. They are, instead, legal bribes. On the one hand, Andrea Widburg raises some good points about why Obama's beard will run. I would say that if the likely cheat machine can be overcome, that is if those who put it in place fear that that is a growing possibility, who better to protect and preserve the continued planned dismantling/destruction than a close relative of the scumbag who put that plan into high gear in the first place?

On the other hand, and as CBD and I have posited on the latest podcast (up soon in the sidebar), adding to Michelle Obama's innate, preternatural laziness and sloth is the fact that fools are literally lining up like illegal aliens six-deep around the block at the Roosevelt Hotel throwing hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars at her for essentially doing nothing. Does she really want to give that up (no, not the money; that will always flow) just to be the Junta's replacement puppet? Mind you, she has to actually work and appear in front of the cameras every damn day; she can't hide in the basement like Joey. Does she really want that aggravation, even if it's merely kabuki-bukkake theater?

I say she doesn't and so will not run. After all, given the institutionalized fraud in at least half the states and for sure in the key swing states, they can run anyone or anything. Even Fetterman's lump will get 85 million billion votes.
