"They Were Laughing:" Female Clerk at Seattle Gas Station Brutally Beaten by Six Hoodie-Wearing Thieves

On Friday night, a group of teenagers ransacked a gas station in the Seattle suburb of Normandy Park, brutally beating the clerk before making off with cash and merchandise.

The suspects, who victim Leah Johnston said laughed while they attacked and robbed her at the Friendly Normandy Market, are still at large.

Security footage of the incident shocked many on social media. The burglars forced their way behind the counter, where one proceeded to attack Johnston while the others filled their arms and bags with products.

Johnston tried to shield her face as the hoodie-clad assailant repeatedly punched and kicked her. His attack continued even after she had fallen to the ground.

The suspects then bolted, leaving Johnston injured and the area behind the counter in tatters.

As FOX13 Seattle reports, the thieves fled the scene in stolen Kia and Hyundai vehicles. While the cars were later recovered, the whereabouts of the group of teenagers is not known.

They just wanted bread to feed their hungry children! (Although they mostly focused on looting the cigarette racks, for some reason.)

In an interview with the outlet, Johnston said that while her face hurts, what really suffered that day was her pride.

"Kids don't seem to fear anything anymore," she lamented. "There's like, no repercussions for them the way there used to be."

The suspects, she explained, were "laughing," and appeared to have "no [regard] for anything."

Correct. Because the lunatic left convinced a majority of liberals to legalize crime.
