House Republicans rebutted the Uniparty Media-Government Complex's bleat that there is "no evidence" that Biden took part in Hunter's foreign bribery-collection operations.

Yes, there is. There are at least 20 separate, mutually-confirming pieces of evidence that Joe Biden was a participant and a beneficiary of the bribery scheme. Without Joe Biden, there was no influence to peddle.

A major political party harassing a father for years because his son struggles with addiction is one of the most disgusting spectacles I've witnessed in US politics.

A lot of you are probably wondering: Who is this Penile CPR Administrator Ian Millheiser? Well, I'm wondering too. I don't know who the fuck he is. I just see him quoted at Twitchy.

I don't think he's very important if the only people who have ever heard of him are all at Twitchy. I think he's one of those sad pale doughy creatures who lives entirely online, like Ben Howe.

Our long national nightmare is (almost) over: Mitt Romney says he won't seek re-election... in the Senate.

Sen. Mitt Romney announced Wednesday he will not vie for re-election in 2024, opening up a Senate seat in Utah.

Romney, the GOP's presidential nominee in 2012, had been one of the most vocal Republican critics of former President Donald Trump in the Senate. While he plans to leave the Senate in 2025, Romney underscored that he's "not retiring from the fight."

I fear this means he will be running for President for the "No Labels" party, or, who knows, the Lincoln Project Party. (How can it be they haven't gotten into that grift yet?)

The Giant supermarket in Washington DC has seen theft rise by 1,000% over the past five years.

They're almost certainly going to close the location, leading to another "food desert" for leftists to complain about.

But before they close it completely, they're trying one last tact: They're removing all the brand-name products that could be looted and easily resold.

I don't mean they're locking them behind plexiglass. They already did that.

They'll just no longer be selling them, period.

They weren't selling them before, anyway -- thieves were just carrying them out without paying.

n the coming weeks, a Giant Food market in D.C. will clear its beauty and health aisles of all national labels. No more Tide, Colgate or Advil, only store brands. Shoppers also will have to present their receipts to an employee before exiting the store.

It's the regional supermarket chain's most overt gambit against the rampant theft that's plaguing retailers of all sizes. It's also a potential last-ditch effort to avoid shutting down the unprofitable store on Alabama Avenue SE -- the only major grocer east of the Anacostia River in Ward 8.

"We want to continue to be able to serve the community, but we can't do so at the level of significant loss or risk to our associates that we have today," said Giant President Ira Kress.

Shoplifting, organized crime and violence have become significant concerns for regional and national retailers. Home Depot, Target, Lowe's, Dollar Tree, Dick's Sporting Goods and Ulta are among those that flagged shrink -- the depletion of inventory caused by something other than sales -- during their second-quarter earnings calls. Growing losses have spurred giants such as Walmart to shutter locations.

"Our team continues to face an unacceptable amount of retail theft and organized retail crime," Target chief executive Brian Cornell told investors last month. "During the first five months of this year, our stores saw a 120 percent increase in theft incidents involving violence or threats of violence."

In recent months, stores across the country have been targeted by flash-mob robberies, after-hours break-ins and thefts mid-supply chain. Several Target locations grappled with bomb threats and swatting incidents in the fallout from participating in Pride Month.

Lie. This is the Washington Post again pretending that the bomb threats came because of Target being part of Pride Month. No, the threats came from radical trans activists who were angry that Target moved its pride and Trans-for-Kids stuff to the back of the stores in response to customer complaints.

Lie lie lie -- and then get others deplatformed for spreading "disinformation."

Incidents of organized retail crime increased in 2021 by an average of 26.5 percent, according to a National Retail Federation study released last year. Store owners, the report says, blamed organized retail crime for about half of the $94.5 billion lost that year to retail shrink.

That's spurred retailers like Dollar Tree to take "a very defensive approach to shrink," according to chief executive Richard Dreiling. The chain recorded a 30 percent decline in gross profit margin last quarter, largely because of shrink. Now more items will be locked up, moved behind counters or simply discontinued.

Giant Food, which has 165 supermarkets across D.C., Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, has not closed any stores. In May, it implemented several changes, including hiring more security guards, closing down secondary entrances, limiting the number of items permitted through self-checkout areas, removing high-theft items from shelves and locking up more products.

...

"We have no other choice," Diane Hicks, senior vice president of operations, said Thursday during a walk-through with officials from the D.C. mayor's office, the city's police and fire departments, and the Chamber of Commerce. She added that other nearby stores have locked up all products in those aisles or removed them altogether. "I've been leaving it out for our customers, and unfortunately it just forces all the crime to come to us."

...

"I don't want to do this -- I'd like to sell [those products]," he said. "But the reality is that Tide is not a profitable item in this store. . . . In many instances, people stock the product and within two hours it's gone, so it's not on the shelf anyway."

And I bet you thought I was exaggerating when I said "they're not selling these products anyway, thieves are just carrying them out without paying." Truth is, I thought I was exaggerating when I said that. But it turns out, my exaggeration was accurate.

Some D.C. Council members have expressed concern that Giant might shut down a store that serves a ward of more than 85,000 people. Not only is a supermarket like Giant an important part of the community, it also is a lifeline for a community with limited access to quality food.

Awww.

The infantile, brain-damaged legions of leftists are in a never-ending cycle of denying there are any consequences for their actions, waking up and discovering there are consequences for their actions, screaming that it's unfair that there are consequences for their actions and that the government should insulate them against the consequences of their actions, and then starting over again with denying there are any consequences for their actions.

Maybe try re-criminalizing theft and sending some Gentle Giants to fucking jail, where they belong?

How racist of me to even suggest it!

A male teacher who posted a former student's naked pictures online on a "revenge porn" website. It's not clear how he got the photos.

Although he left the school at which he had been teaching, the next school district over just hired him.

A New Jersey high school teacher who resigned after posting naked photos of a former student online was hired by another school district, according to reports.

Christopher Doyle, a former math teacher at Wall High School, was ordered last month to pay Kaitlyn Cannon, 29, $10,000 for posting intimate pictures of her on a revenge porn website.

Doyle resigned in 2019 amid litigation over the breach of Cannon's privacy, but was quickly hired by the Perth Amboy High School just a county away.

As of Friday, Doyle was still listed as an active employee at the school despite officials' insistence that he was not working in the district, Fox News Digital reports.

"It's my opinion that he shouldn't be allowed to teach in schools," Cannon, 29, told Fox. "That's something that's important to me. It doesn't sit right, I guess."

Officials at Perth Amboy High School did not immediately respond to The Post's request for comment.

Cannon's nightmare began in 2018 when she received messages that the naked selfies she sent to a boyfriend while attending Penn State were uploaded to the Dutch revenge porn website Anon-IB.

The website listed the photos under Cannon's first name, last initial, and Wall Township, where she grew up.

As Cannon and her family received an influx of messages about the photos, investigators revealed the disturbing fact that the pictures were uploaded from Doyle's computer, the very man who taught her in high school and coached her sister's tennis team.

If you're a union-protected public school teacher, the world is your oyster. You can do whatever you want to your students and keep your job forever.

Speaking of: Randi Weingarten says that supporting school choice, trying to help children escape the vicious failure factories the teachers unions have made, is just like... supporting segregation.
