Former Ukranian Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin is accusing Joe and Hunter Biden of 'corruption' - saying they accepted large money 'bribes' from Burisma and were behind his firing.

Shokin, who was ousted as Ukraine's top prosecutor in 2016, made the accusations during excerpts of an upcoming explosive interview airing on Fox News.

At the time of his firing, he was investigating oil company Burisma Holdings for corruption - when Hunter was serving on the firm's board.

'I do not want to deal in unproven facts. But my firm personal conviction is that yes, this was the case. They were being bribed,' Shokin says in the clip of the interview.

'The fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in U.S. money in exchange for my dismissal - my firing - isn't that alone a case of corruption?' he continues in another clip.

The full interview will air Saturday evening at 8 pm ET with Brian Kilmeade.

The White House is accusing Fox News of giving a 'platform to lies' by airing the interview.

Republicans have said Hunter's Burisma entanglement and possible influence in Shokin's firing is evidence of the Biden family's influence peddling scheme.

As part of a larger investigation, they are seeking records revealing Joe Biden's use of pseudonyms to discuss his activities related to Ukraine with his son Hunter during his time as vice president.

They specifically want an un-redacted document that indicates that then-Vice President Biden took a call with the president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, on May 27, 2016.

Republicans say the document was emailed to 'Robert L. Peters' which is 'a pseudonym' the House Oversight Committee has 'identified as then Vice-President Biden,' a letter obtained by DailyMail.com states.

Hunter's "best friend" and "business" partner Devon Archer has already essentially confirmed that Hunter was paid to get Joe Biden to fix their many problems:

Archer testified that Burisma was 'getting pressure' and as a result, they 'requested Hunter, you know, help them with some of that pressure.'

He said it was 'government pressure' from the ongoing Ukrainian investigation into the company at the time - led by top prosecutor Shokin.

However, Archer said that Shokin 'wasn't specifically on my radar as being an individual that was -- that was targeting him.'

'But yes, there was constant pressure. And it was like it was like whack a mole in regards to the pressures that had to resolve,' Archer continued.

He said that the Burisma executives weren't specific in asking directly 'can the big guy help?'

Rather, they used the 'amorphous' term: 'can we get help in D.C.?'

Notice that Devon Archer calls Joe Biden "the big guy."

And Jake Tapper continues insisting there is "no evidence" linking Joe Biden to the money Burisma and CEFC paid, despite five different people confirming that Joe Biden was "the big guy" that Hunter was holding a 10% stake in CEFC for.

Meanwhile, an actual former mafioso says that Hunter Biden's convoluted shell corporations, and the directive for sketchy people to pay money to his relatives, sure reminds him of the mafia's bookkeeping, which the feds used to consider a major crime when it wasn't the Biden Crime Family doing it.

Former mobster Michael Franzese, 72, operated for many years as a caporegime in the Colombo crime family. He joined Fox News' Jesse Watters on Thursday night to discuss the striking similarities between the Biden family's alleged money laundering operation and his own experiences. (How much longer must we preface every mention of the Biden family's activities with the word "alleged"?)

Franzese funneled money through a series of 18 shell corporations. He told Watters that these companies consisted only of a bank account through which funds could be laundered. Like the Biden family's shell corporations, these businesses "had no brick and mortar office[s], we had no employees, we had no product that we were selling." They were set up for the sole purpose of obfuscation.

Although Democrats repeatedly argue that, so far, none of the funds from foreign entities can be traced directly to Joe Biden, Franzese explained that is the whole point. "He [Biden] doesn't want it, you know, attached to him in any way." He noted that, "I didn't put the money in my account. It went everywhere else and then I collected it in a different way."

This is how influence-peddling schemes work. Rather than depositing funds directly into the bank account of the individual whose influence is being bought (or in Franzese's situation, the individual who is trying to evade government scrutiny), payments are made through a maze of shell accounts to family members or significant others, as they were in the Biden's case. The House Oversight Committee has traced millions of dollars of foreign money flowing into the accounts of nine Biden family members, including a grandchild, for no discernible business purpose. Those payments first passed through an elaborate network of shell corporations before hitting the accounts of the ultimate recipients as is typical in a money-laundering scheme.
