Biden Administration Pushing Booster Shots Again, and Mask Mandates Are Returning in Some Left-Dominated Places

It's a Tripledemic of bullshit, fearmongering, and control.

The Biden administration plans to urge all Americans to get a booster shot for the coronavirus this autumn to counter a new wave of infections, a White House official said on Sunday.

The official said that while the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are reporting an increase in infections and hospital admissions from the virus, overall levels remain low.

Two weeks to slow the spread, guys.

On Thursday, Moderna (MRNA.O) said initial data showed its updated COVID-19 vaccine is effective against the "Eris" and "Fornax" subvariants in humans.

Moderna and other COVID-19 vaccine makers Novavax (NVAX.O), Pfizer (PFE.N) and German partner BioNTech SE (22UAy.DE) have created versions of their shots aimed at the XBB.1.5 subvariant.

I'll bet they did, I'll bet they did!

And the government is still paying for these shots, right?

The gov't stopped paying a while back. That's why you see all the COVID vaccine commercials using very expensive celebrities pushing them!

Pending approval from health regulators in the United States and Europe, the companies expect the updated shots to be available in the coming weeks for the autumn vaccination season.

Pretty sure the government will approve them while doing no testing whatsoever.

"We will be encouraging all Americans to get those boosters in addition to flu shots and RSV shots," the official said, referring to the Respiratory Syncytial Virus.

Morris Brown College is a private liberal arts school in Atlanta, Georgia where both students and employees are now being required to wear masks in crowded areas such as hallways and classrooms for at least two weeks. Reports of positive cases among the student body have driven concerns that the new variant is going to cause a renewed boom in Covid cases not just within the college but around the country. This also means that there will be no parties or gatherings for that time, and social distancing will once again be implemented.

But Georgia isn't the only place where concern over the new strand of infection is brewing. Government doctors in Seattle recently demanded that masks be mandatory in nursing settings again, in an op-ed posted by the American College of Physicians (ACP). Despite much debate about mask efficacy following the official end of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, these public health officials are insisting that the vulnerable population of places of medicine such as hospitals and nursing homes would benefit from any act that may reduce "risk for Covid contracted in the hospital among patients and health care workers."

They further impress the need to "adapt to this new reality" and not "accepting unnecessary risks to patient and provider health."
