A pediatrics group has formed a "rapid-response" team -- wait, is this science or just politics? -- and claims that all suspicions about genderblender therapy are just based on -- can you guess? I think you can probably guess -- disinformation, though they do not say if this is of Russian provenance or if it is locally sourced disinformation.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) published an article Tuesday explaining that a team of scientists had been formed to combat "disinformation" regarding medical sex-change procedures for minors.

The group, composed of eight professionals in the fields of psychology, pediatric endocrinology, child and adolescent psychiatry, law and adolescent medicine, has been advocating against state laws in Texas, Florida and Alabama that bar sex-change procedures for minors, according to the article. The case study's goal is to combat scientific "disinformation" about the dangers of transgender medical procedures, such as puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, for children.

"A cross-disciplinary team of academics in medicine, psychology, and law assembled to challenge scientific disinformation on GAC with 2 rapid-response rebuttal reports," the article reads.

Rapid-response Science is the Best Science.

"Reports were produced in 3 to 10 weeks after the passage of GAC bans in Texas, Alabama, and Florida in 2022. They were posted online to facilitate dissemination and engage litigators, judges, policy experts, advocates, parents, and others."

Dr. Meredithe McNamara, an assistant professor of Pediatrics at Yale University and one of the members of the team, explained in a video that the case for sex-change procedures for minors is "firmly grounded in scientific evidence."

"Gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse youth is firmly grounded in scientific evidence," McNamara said. "But in 2021, many U.S. states have considered, and some have adopted, that ban access to gender-affirming care, with harsh punishments for providers and parents."

Another group member, Dr. Nathalie Szilagyi, an instructor at Yale's Child Study Center, also argued in the video that disinformation was the basis for many state laws prohibiting transgender procedures for children. She said that the "claims" made by lawmakers in the legislation were not in line with "scientific evidence and standard practice" and that those without the right "expertise" may find it hard to notice the disinformation.

The group claimed that elected officials and policymakers are not equipped to understand the scientific research and studies surrounding the transgender medical procedures and that this leads to laws that have a negative effect on transgender individuals and their families, according to the video./b>

Another recent AAP article, published on Aug. 17, discussed how medical professionals in the pediatric field can educate and advocate to "increase inclusivity, visibility, and an affirming care approach," according to the website. The article criticized recent legislation that had barred schools from teaching minors about "sexual orientation or gender identity" and the "criminalization of gender-affirming care."

Meanwhile, a detransitioned teen warns of the irreversible harms of transgender ideology.

Former transgender influencer and author Oli London cautioned against pushing gender-affirming ideology on young children, Thursday, telling Fox News that kids cannot comprehend the "long-term ramifications" of undergoing treatment.

"I've been through the transition process before. I've struggled with gender identity, and now I've really witnessed what is going on right now," he told "Fox & Friends First."

"Adults can make decisions on their own, and we know we accept that it's a very accepting society, but it's when it's being pushed on kids... I've written a book, and I discuss all of this in 'Gender Madness,' about how harmful it is to push this on kids and how we're seeing a rise in particularly young teenage girls undergoing double mastectomies, hormone replacement therapy and puberty blockers, and how it's simply a very harmful approach because kids cannot consent. They don't understand the long term ramifications of these things," he continued.

London, who reversed his gender transition last year after identifying as a trans woman for six months, now serves as an activist against the ideology that many are concerned to find in public schools, corporate campaigns and in medical scholarship across the U.S. and beyond.

The company formerly known as Twitter has been slowing the speed with which users could access links to the New York Times, Facebook and other news organizations and online competitors, a move that appeared targeted at companies that have drawn the ire of owner Elon Musk. Users who clicked a link on Musk's website, now called X, for one of the targeted websites were made to wait about five seconds before seeing the page, according to tests conducted Tuesday by The Washington Post.

The delayed websites included X's online rivals Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky and Substack, as well as the Reuters wire service and the Times. All of them have previously been singled out by Musk for ridicule or attack.

On Tuesday afternoon, hours after this story was first published, X began reversing the throttling on some of the sites, dropping the delay times back to zero. It was unknown if all the throttled websites had normal service restored.

Officials are investigating billionaire Tom Steyer for allegedly violating Vacation Home Rental (VHR) policies in his rental of his vacation home to President Joe Biden.

Biden rented Steyer's $18 million property for a six-day vacation in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, for "fair market value," the White House said.

You see? Biden's mob lawyers say they paid fair market value, so any claims to the contrary are Russian Misinformation.

I'm sure there's a well-established market for the rental of billionaire's vacation homes.

The president is accompanied by first lady Jill Biden and son Hunter Biden at the mansion.

A local resident filed a complaint against Steyer claiming he did not have a VHR permit, The Nevada Globe first reported Monday. VHR Program Manager Ernie Strehlow confirmed to the Daily Caller that the complaint is "being researched."

Soooo... Steyer never rented the home. Which is what you'd expect -- he's a billionaire.

So how can it be said that Biden paid "fair market value" for use of the billionaire's bungalo? The home is not even on the market for rentals.

"Several [inquiries] have been received on this address. We cannot comment further as we are actively investigating any Douglas County Nevada code violations on this rental," Strehlow said in a statement.

If found to be in violation of VHR policies, Steyer could face a fine of up to $20,000, Douglas County policies state.

And what about the criminal Biden?
