...............With liberty and justice for all. It feels fine when you say it. It sounds good when you hear it. The concept noble. And once upon a time our country strived to provide liberty and justice for all.

No more. And it hasn't been that way for quite some time. I'm not sure when the erosion began. But it has been ongoing for a number of years. And what was once the Shining City on a Hill is now a fractured sludge tank of political power, greed and disdain of what is right and wrong.

The current prosecutions of Donald Trump and a quick review of recent history shows to what great depth our nation has sunk. The recent history I speak of goes back to 2003 when former Clinton aide Sandy Berger stole classified documents from the National Archives.

Berger got off with 2 misdemeanor convictions and a sentence of Please don't do that again Sandy. Mkay?

What a complete Bull Shit sentence.

Not to be outdone by a man named Sandy, Hillary Clinton said, "Here, hold my Chablis." Hillary destroyed documents which were under subpoena, mishandled classified information and kicked Bill's dog. We don't have time to review her other "foibles".

The bitch was never faced any criminal charges. Perhaps her punishment was losing the 2016 Presidential election. Between Berger and Clinton, I don't know who got the last laugh.

Other liars from the Obama regime? James Clapper and John Brennan come to mind. Nope, nothing happened to those two loathsome individuals except for some lucrative media deals.

DOJ Lawyers Handling Trump J6 Case Declined to Prosecute Disgraced FBI Chief Andrew McCabe

J.P. Cooney and Molly Gaston, longtime DOJ creatures now assigned to Special Counsel Jack Smith's team, refused to charge McCabe in 2020.

But just a few years ago, Gaston appeared unconcerned with “lies” told by another top government official. Gaston and fellow prosecutor J.P. Cooney, also currently assigned to Smith’s team, informed Andrew McCabe—the former acting FBI Director who was fired in 2018 for lying to federal investigators—that he would not be charged.

“We write to inform you that, after careful consideration, the Government has decided not to pursue criminal charges against your client, Andrew G. McCabe, arising from the referral by the Office of the Inspector General to our office of conduct described in OIGs April 18, 2018 report, entitled ‘A Report of Allegations Relating to Former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe,’” Gaston and Cooney wrote to Michael Bromwich and David Schertler, McCabe’s attorneys, in February 2020. “Based on the totality of the circumstances and all of the information known to the Government at this time, we consider the matter closed.”

James Comey leaks and lies and is set for life with his pension and book deal. Funny thing, no one has interviewed Martha Stewart asking her opinion about fibbing to the FBI.

And lastly there is our Resident of The White House, MushHead Joe. He may have the IQ of instant mashed potatoes, but he does have chutzpah. While busy storing classified documents next to his car. He had his rival and our former president arrested for possessing classified documents at his residence.

Two sets of laws now operate in an increasingly unrecognizable America.

Consider the matter of unlawfully removing and storing classified papers.

Donald Trump may go to prison for removing contested White House files to his home.

So far, Joe Biden seems exempt from just such legal jeopardy.

But as a senator and vice president with no right, as does a president, to declassify files, Biden removed and, as a private citizen, kept for years classified files in unsecured locations.

Biden's team strangely revealed the unlawful removals after years of silence.

It did so because the Biden administration found itself in the untenable position of prosecuting the former president for "crimes" that the current president committed as well -- albeit far earlier and longer.

So we continue on our slippery slope race to Banana Republic Status. And if I knew a way to throw on the brakes, by God I would.
