The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

People’s behavior and negligence caused all this. Unfortunately, they wiped out 25 years of research.
Michael Ginsberg, an attorney for RPI,

Quote II

“We are pleased the Court has rejected Hans Niemann’s attempt to recover an undeserved windfall in Missouri federal court, and that Niemann’s attempt to chill speech through strategic litigation in that forum has failed,” Craig Reiser, lead defense counsel to Carlsen

All-in-all, a spectacular day that will certainly celebrate and advance the cause!

Pride Indeed...

The following takes place in a mythological setting; the events and circumstances are entirely products of my fevered imagination. It is, however, not difficult to believe that such things will soon become all-too-solid reality, given the current course of events.

The Overlord is not engaging in "Hate Speech", but is rather engaged in "parody". The intent is not to offend or "other" or ostracize, let alone incite violence towards others, but to ...umm...ah...engender (facepalm)...a clearer thought process about the road we are currently on, and where it will (not "might") eventually lead us.

This is Sarcasm.

Udder Bull Shit!

FRESNO – A Central Valley man was sentenced to federal prison Monday after he was convicted in a nearly $9 million Ponzi scheme where he claimed to turn cow manure into green energy.

According to U.S. Attorney Phillip Talbert's office, 66-year-old Ray Brewer of Porterville received a sentence of six years and nine months after pleading guilty to the scheme, which took place between 2014 and 2019.

Prosecutors said Brewer stole $8.75 million from investors in the scheme, in which he claimed to build anaerobic digesters on dairy farms in Fresno, Kern, Kings and Tulare Counties, along with other counties in California and in Idaho.

The devices use microorganisms to break down manure into methane gas, which could be sold as green energy. Methane also produces renewable energy credits, which are often used by companies to meet green energy goals.

The Post-Tucker fallout still continues to zing FNC.

Tucker Carlson's Enemy at Fox News Crashing and Burning Without Him: Report

Fox Nation, a thorn in the side of Tucker Carlson and perhaps his biggest enemy at Fox News, may be headed the way of the ill-fated streaming platform CNN+ in his absence.

A leaked video in the aftermath of Carlson’s ouster at Fox showed he was not a fan of the platform.

Ugly is such a strong adjective. Maybe not in this case.

Meet Scooter, the winner of this year's World's Ugliest Dog contest

Scooter isn't what many would call a conventional beauty.

The 7-year-old Chinese Crested dog, with reversed hind legs, is nearly bald but for a shock of white wispy hairs.

But it's those kinds of peculiarities that endeared the pooch to judges at the "World's Ugliest Dog" contest in Petaluma, Calif., where he took home the grand prize on Friday.

On this day: 27 Jun 1966
The Mothers of Invention released their debut studio album Freak Out! on Verve Records. Often cited as one of rock music's first concept albums, the album is a satirical expression of frontman Frank Zappa's perception of American pop culture and the nascent freak scene of Los Angeles. It was also one of the earliest double albums in rock music. via thisdayinmusic.com
