DISNEY'S CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER QUITS WITHOUT WARNING

Disney's Chief Financial Officer, and the woman groomed to be Bob Iger's successor when he leaves in 18 months (or sooner!), just quit without warning, citing a "family medical" issue.

Yeah, so... The excuse for her out-of-the-blue shock termination may be true.

But I have suspicions.

Walt Disney Company's CFO Christine McCarthy is taking a family medical leave of absence from Disney. Effective July 1, Kevin Lansberry who is the Executive VP and the CFO for the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products will fill in for the McCarthy until a new CFO can be found.

She will still be working as a "strategic advisor" to train her replacement.

What could the Shock Termination be about?

When Chapek got fired, the sudden coup was arranged behind the scenes by Bob Iger and, I believe, this woman. They rallied the board to fire Chapek when Chapek was out of the office -- in fact, it was a Sunday night. He was out at an Elton John concert. They organized the coup when they knew he wouldn't be in a position to fight it.

And here's the thing: This woman has been named in a class action lawsuit alleging that she cooked the books to deceive investors into thinking Disney+ was doing better than it is:

This all comes after McCarthy was named in a potential class action lawsuit from some investors over alleged misrepresentation about the state of Disney+ success. She was named along with Bob Chapek and Kareem Daniels, however she was the only current Disney employee.

If you remember some unsubstantiated, completely speculative rumors I mentioned before: Kamran Pasha speculated that Chapek's firing was actually due to the fact that Disney had lost money and attempted to quickly make it back by, get this, investing billions in Sam Bankman-Fried's FTX coins. Which were of course a scam, with all investors losing all of their money.

And his claim went that this woman was involved with that, and arranged the palace coup against Chapek because she was afraid he was looking into Disney's books.

Do I believe that? I certainly didn't think it was likely before. It's very hard to hide massive losses without being detected. There's a lot of paperwork. And you have to keep signing your name to frauds, which means you're signing your own prison sentence.

And now...? Well I still think this is the type of high-stakes crime that a bourgeois corporate type would not commit.

I would just say, I am looking at this Wild-Ass Rumor with fresh interest. Not fresh credence, necessarily. But fresh interest.

Breaking from The Babylon Bee:

Although we've seen multiple reports that Bud Light was in danger of losing its place as the reigning 22-year number one beer in America, we now have the official word.

It was the fucking aroundest of times, it was the finding outest of times.

Bud Light's sales plummeted 24.4 percent in the past week, while rival brand Modelo Especial soared 12.2 percent

The shift cemented Modelo's place as America's new number one beer, a position Bud Light had held for over 22 years

It comes as the embattled brewer continues to struggle with the aftermath of its disastrous collaboration with trans star Dylan Mulvaney

Bud Light has seen its sales continue to plummet amid ongoing backlash to its disastrous collaboration with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The beer giant lost its place as America's number one beer brand to Modelo Especial due to the controversy, a position it held for over 22 years.

In the week ending June 3, Bud Light's sales dropped by a staggering 24.4 percent, even worse than the 23.9 percent dip from the previous week.

However, parent company Anheuser-Busch saw some gains with its other beer brands, with Michelob Ultra turning a sales increase for the first time in weeks.

Since the start of the year, Bud Light has reported a 9.5 percent decline in sales, while Modelo's bounce has seen it report an 8.5 percent spike.

In comparison to Bud Light's disastrous 24.4 percent drop in the past week, Modelo soared above the competition as sales were up 12.2 percent.

The week before, Modelo's sales rose 9.5 percent, while Bud Light dropped 23.9 percent despite an expected Memorial Day weekend bounce.

Bump Williams, head of data firm Bump Williams Consulting who tracked the recent data with NielsenIQ, said Modelo's recent winning streak may be more than a flash in the pan.

'(Modelo) appears to be increasing its sales growth each week as we get deeper into the summer,' he said.

A number of Anheuser-Busch's sister beer brands appear to also be steadily overcoming their link to the scandal, with Budweiser sales rising from an 8.5 percent decrease to a 7.8 percent decrease.

Natural Light also reported an improvement in sales over the past week, although it still saw a loss as its numbers improved from 1.5 percent to 1 percent.

I wish people would be more aware that Anheuser-Busch owns more than Bud. They own Michelob, Natural Light, and Corona, too.

Modelo beer is complicated -- apparently Anheuser-Busch bought the Mexican beer brand but was required to spin off the American branch of the business to its own company, Constellation Brands, owned by others, in order to pass anti-trust muster. That is, the feds objected when A-B, owner of the Number One selling beer, proposed buying the Number Two bestselling beer.

I imagine, but don't know for sure, that A-B would still get licensing fees from the American company, right?

In related news: Target continues getting pressured by leftwing extremists to put "Pride" front and center again.

No, not the Alphabet Terrorists calling in bomb and arson threats to Target (which the leftwing Regime media, which laughably claims to be "anti-disinformation," then claims is the fault of right-wing people).

I mean LGBT Extremists like New York's Attorney General, "Tish" James, the one who prosecuted Trump's businesses for allegedly estimating their own values too highly.

Target's move to pull some LGBTQ-themed merchandise from stores following customer backlash "is wrong," New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a tweet Tuesday urging the retailer to reverse its decision.

At least 14 New York officials have signed a letter regarding Target's decision, according to James's tweet.

Target last month said it was making certain "adjustments" to its LGBTQ-themed products linked to Pride Month, citing increased confrontations between shoppers and employees and incidents of products being thrown on the floor.

The company has sold LGBTQ-related goods tied to Pride month for years but has faced growing criticism for carrying those products, including from conservative news outlets and Republican politicians, who have claimed certain items at its stores were marketed to children.

One swimsuit line Target is offering in its stores this year was aimed at males who transition to women has a pocket for private parts.

Target Wednesday reiterated a statement it had shared last month, saying it has "experienced threats" impacting employees' sense of safety while at work.

Those threats were phoned in by pro-LGBT/Trans extremists. This article hides that, as all Regime Media does.

Now that article comes from Newsmax. But it's a Reuters article. Companies like Newsmax pay Reuters to post Reuters articles. But I believe the company purchasing these articles are permitted to rewrite them. And if that is the case, then Newsmax, seriously, review and rewrite these Regime Media articles, don't just cut and paste them.

Meanwhile, Abigail Shrier reminds everyone who might, like Paul Ryan, think that the culture war is icky: Before anyone boycotted Target, Target boycotted me:
