I am a longtime lurker, and my favorite on your site is the Pet Thread. Macintosh, our next door neighbors' Springer Spaniel, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 7 last week. Mac never liked being boarded, so we were his foster parents whenever his family went on vacation. Needless to say, you don't need to be a dog owner to love one. Here is funny, silly Mac - we miss him dearly.

So sorry about the loss of your dear friend. Sweet photo.

You've shared pictures of Dini (the Tabby) and Smudge (Maine Coon) before. Dini is four years old, Smudge is just over one year old. They both love to torment each other which provides endless entertainment for house OCiS. The first picture below has Dini stairing into the tube with Smudge thinking she's invisible. Picture #2 is about 5 seconds later after a brief tussle leading to this stand-off inside the tube. Picture #3 is when things are a little more calm where the girls are enjoying some sun (Dini on top of the stool, Smudge hanging out underneath). Been thinking about adopting a dog/puppy. Miss having one ride in the truck with me, taking walks, not to mention the companionship that only a dog can provide. But these two also get a vote on the decision to bring one home, and I'm not sure how they'll vote.
Our Country is Screwed.
Well, what does The Horde think? Do these cats need a puppy?
