Biden sent troops to the border. Don't worry -- they're not there to stop illegal aliens from coming in. They're there to do the administrative work of "processing" the illegals so that they can be let into the country.

They're also there to provide medical assistance to them. And food.

Now, Biden sent these troops to the border to get the headline Biden sends troops to the border, to trick Americans into believing he's trying to keep illegals out, when in fact the troops are there to speed their entry into the US.

The trouble is, the Fake News headline fooled the wrong people. Biden's leftwing base has been confused into thinking that these troops have been sent to the border to stop illegal aliens from coming in, rather than helping them "disappear into the shadows" of the US interior.

And this is causing further erosion of Biden's support among progressive extremists.

So what does Biden do? His handlers call up the leftwing Politico to get them to tell their leftwing audience, Don't worry, the troops are at the border only to Con the Rubes into believing we're trying to keep illegal aliens out, but really, they're there to help the illegal aliens illegally rush the border. Biden's troop deployment to the border is different from Trump's

From law enforcement duties to building barriers, the tasks will be different.

Hundreds of active-duty U.S. troops are descending on the Mexican border this week, but they're not authorized to make arrests, use their weapons or do much more than administrative work.

That's making the military deployment -- timed for the end of pandemic-era immigration restrictions -- a classic no-win political situation for the Biden administration, which is getting hit from at least one prominent Democrat for perpetuating Trump-era militarization of the border, and from Republicans who say the mission will be utterly ineffectual.

Within President Joe Biden's party, Sen. Bob Menendez has been blasting Biden's move as "trying to score political points or intimidate migrants by sending the military" and catering to the GOP's "xenophobic attacks on our asylum system."

Most Democratic congressional leaders have been muted in their reaction to the deployment, even though they were quick to criticize border deployments when Trump did it.

Indeed, despite Biden's shift in tone on immigration from former President Donald Trump, he's kept some troops on the border since taking office in 2021. The 1,500 troops who began arriving this week are joining 2,500 National Guardsmen who have been there since last year.

But there are key differences between this year's deployment and Trump's, from what the troops are allowed to do to the situation on the ground to the way Congress is approaching the question.

Trump allowed active-duty troops to temporarily detain and search migrants. Soldiers laid hundreds of miles of concertina wire and erected temporary barriers while Trump funneled billions of dollars meant for military construction projects toward the wall.

The troops headed to the border this week, on the other hand, will be armed only for self-defense and will carry out backroom tasks.

What will that add up to? Not much, say Republicans. "I just think he should have secured the border months ago, and it's window dressing in my view," said Senate Armed Services Committee member Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska).

The former president's use of the military at the border was part of a broader anti-immigration push, which also included racially-charged travel bans, deportations and separating families. Trump sent thousands of active-duty and National Guard troops to the border through a series of deployments over the course of the spring and fall of 2018 to help repel a much-discussed caravan of immigrants from Central America.

At the time, the numbers did not point to a crisis: In 2017, the number of undocumented immigrants caught at the border was the lowest since 1971, according to U.S. Border Patrol. And the caravan itself, which Trump suggested might include Middle Eastern terrorists, was part of what had become the normal annual seasonal uptick in Central American migrants making their way to the border.

LOL. The leftwing media is claiming the current border invasion is "not a crisis," too.

It's never a crisis, because they all want this.

Many observers at the time saw the deployments as politically motivated, designed to fire up the Republican base ahead of the midterm congressional elections.

Well it was "politically motivated" in the sense that the people of the country are sick of mass illegal immigration and asked for their politicians to stop giving them the rope-a-dope and actually do something to stop it, and Trump attempted to satisfy the people's desire for a secure border.

Now, Biden is responding to the expected end of Title 42, which has allowed the U.S. to deny asylum and migration claims for public health reasons. Officials say the expiration of Title 42 on Thursday will prompt an influx of Central Americans into the U.S.

Officials say they would have preferred to rely on law enforcement agents for the mission, but the Department of Homeland Security is short on people and money. So the administration is turning to what they have now, which is 1,500 active-duty troops.

"Military personnel will not be permitted to support migrant processing and escort duties or other activities that involve direct participation in civilian law enforcement activities, be responsible for property seized from migrants, or require direct contact with migrants," according to a statement from U.S. Northern Command.

Instead, they will be performing administrative tasks such as data entry, warehousing, and additional detection and monitoring support to free up Border Patrol agents to deal with the migrants.

They are joining 2,500 National Guard troops on active-duty status -- also subject to Posse Comitatus -- already doing similar work at the border since July 2022.

By contrast, Trump granted active-duty troops the authority to protect law enforcement agents if they engaged in violence in November 2018, a controversial move that put the military in direct contact with migrants.

How dare Trump use the military to prevent foreigners from entering the country en mass.

As predicted, "migrants" -- as NBC calls illegal aliens violating the laws of the country -- began rushing the border at midnight, and are now scheming about what lies to tell to stay indefinitely.

Cheers and applause broke out as migrants prepared to cross the border Friday into El Paso, hours after pandemic-era restrictions were lifted.

Dozens of migrants had already boarded three white school buses in small groups, Border Patrol vans partially obscuring the media's ability to see them. The bus was flanked by members of the National Guard and Border Patrol in green and camouflage uniforms.

Oh, you mean the corrupt Biden regime ordered Border Patrol to deploy their vans to deny the media the ability to take video of this disgusting display, to hide it from the American people?

Homeland Security officials predicted 10,000 migrants per day will try to cross into the U.S. after the lifting of Title 42, the pandemic-era policy that immediately expelled migrants millions of times without providing asylum hearings.

The numbers already surpassed that, with 11,000 apprehended on Tuesday and again on Wednesday.

At El Paso's Gate 42 in the minutes and hours after Title 42 was lifted, the initial processing of people from the Mexican side of the border appeared mostly quiet and orderly, except for a heavy media presence.

In the hours before Title 42 was lifted, migrants in Juarez, Mexico, had been waiting sometimes for days along the border wall for a chance to be allowed inside the U.S.

"Tonight is the decision for many of our Venezuelan brothers and many of our companions from other countries that are here struggling," said Jesús Miguel Roera Mendoza, 26. He has been waiting about 10 days to be processed along the border wall. On Thursday, he was making a more than two-hour round trip to get food and cleansing wipes.

"We have our hearts in our hands," he said, at times getting emotional, saying that being deported back to Venezuela would be "fatal."

"We want to do things right," he added. "We want to come in legally."

The first step of "coming in legally" is of course illegally crossing the border. The second step is talking to leftwing Soros-funded lawyers and memorizing what script to follow to convert simple economic migration into a Fake Political Asylum case.

As I said: The Biden Administration ordered Border Patrol to block cameras from having a view of the invasion.

The leadership of Border Patrol is corrupt and complicit.

The Biden Administration wants this invasion. But they want to hide it from the public.

And the leadership of Border Patrol joined in the conspiracy.

President of @BPUnion Brandon Judd says one Border Patrol station just had 44 agents show up for muster, and only 4 of them are going on patrol in the field, the rest will be processing.

He says cartels will own their stretch of the border.

Drone footage shows the Border Patrol using their vans to block the media from filming the border rush, while they stealthily load the illegals into buses for transportation into the interior of the country.

I don't know if this footage is from this morning or the events from a month or two ago when illegal aliens rushed the border.
