This isn't a thing, and that Biden is pretending otherwise is yet another example of his being a massive fraud on norms and the Constitution and the "soul" of America.

I don't know Cooke's position as to the 2020 elections. I will say, however, that the NeverTrump crowd swore to us that Biden would "restore our norms" and restore the "soul" of America as well.

Cooke seems to be referencing those notions sarcastically. Fair enough.

If only there were an allegedly center-right magazine which could have warned that electing Biden, far from "restoring our norms," would for once and for all put them out of their misery.

Maybe try convincing Baseball Cvck that Joe Biden is not a Moderate Centrist that we can depend on to Restore Our Norms first, Charles, before trying to convince the wider world.

Dianne Feinstein made her glorious return to the Senate today.

Senator Dianne Feinstein arrived at the Senate on Wednesday in a wheelchair and said she has to work a lighter schedule due to side-effects from shingles.

A car drove her to the entrance of the Capitol building. The 89-year-old Democratic Senator from California looked frail, weak and pale as aides helped her out. Her left eye was closed.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer walked by her side as an aide wheeled her into Senate.

Feinstein has been absent for nearly three months and missed almost 100 votes after suffering from shingles.

Side-effects include lingering pain known as postherpetic neuralgia, painful eye infections that may result in vision loss, facial paralysis, or problems with hearing or balance, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Feinstein faced calls to resign - even from her fellow Democrats - amid her health struggles and concerns that her absence could hold up confirmations of President Joe Biden's judges. She sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which holds the confirmation hearings.

She has refused to step down.

1. It was a NYC jury. We have seen and seen and seen and seen how partisan juries decide cases. Have you not seen this, Nancy? Or do you, like all liberals, think Your Tribe is just going by FACTS and REASON when they deliver one acquittal after another for Democrats, and one conviction after another for Republicans?

2. It was a civil trial, which means the standard of evidence was "preponderance of the evidence." It wasn't a conviction requiring proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

So the department of justice arrested George Santos for relatively minor campaign finance violations on the same day Republicans in the house detailed millions of dollars in illegal payments from China & Ukraine to the Biden crime family. Probably a total timing coincidence.

The Department of Justice coincidentally decided to arrest New York GOP Rep. George Santos on money laundering and other charges on Wednesday at the same time House Republicans held a press conference revealing damaging evidence about the Biden family's corrupt, foreign business ventures.

On Tuesday, the DOJ filed charges against Santos in the Eastern District of New York. While originally under seal, the 13-count indictment unveiled Wednesday morning shows the DOJ charging Santos with "seven counts of wire fraud, three counts of money laundering, one count of theft of public funds, and two counts of making materially false statements to the House of Representatives."

According to the unsealed indictment, Santos allegedly lied on his 2020 and 2022 House Disclosure forms by overstating his income and assets. Meanwhile, notable Democrats who appear to have lied under penalty of perjury, such as Secretary of State Antony Blinken, have not faced such charges from Biden's DOJ.

Santos was officially taken into custody Wednesday morning and is expected to appear in court at 1 p.m. EST, according to Fox News.

It's amazing how the arrest of Santos came at the exact same moment Republicans on the House Oversight Committee held a press conference documenting the Biden family's overseas business ventures. Announced earlier this week, Wednesday morning's presser revealed bank records showing how the Bidens and their associates created a network of more than 20 companies and received "at least $10 million ... from foreign nationals' and their related companies."

Two of the counts against Santos were for alleged inappropriate welfare payments, of less than $600 each.

Kevin McCarthy blocks Rashida Tlaib anti-Israel-leaning-towards-antisemitic rally at the Capitol.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy moved on Tuesday evening to block Michigan's Democratic congresswoman Rashida Tlaib from hosting an anti-Semitic congressional event planned for Wednesday, the speaker's office confirmed to the Washington Free Beacon.

McCarthy told the Free Beacon that he intervened late Tuesday to reserve the Capitol Visitor Center space where Tlaib was set to host a Wednesday event to mourn Israel's founding as a "catastrophe.' In its place, the speaker will lead a bipartisan briefing celebrating the 75th anniversary of the U.S.-Israel relationship.

"It's wrong for members of Congress to traffic in anti-Semitic tropes about Israel," McCarthy told the Free Beacon. "As long as I'm Speaker, we are going to support Israel's right to self-determination and self-defense, unequivocally and in a bipartisan fashion."

The anti-Semitic 'Squad' member came under fire this week after the Free Beacon reported that she would host the event alongside an array of anti-Israel groups, including some that have defended terrorism. Tlaib's event was meant to celebrate the "Nakba," a Palestinian term for the creation of Israel that loosely translates as "catastrophe."

The real Nakba is Tlaib's BMI.

No big deal, but the vice president -- who is supposedly our "Border Czar" -- is daydrinking and getting sloshed during working hours.

So I guess the border is all fixed, huh?

Turns out, the border crisis is not fixed. Texas is forced to physically block access to their state with barbed wire.

Biden will almost certainly sue Texas to stop them from sealing the border themselves.

DeSantis was just calling for "deputizing" state governments and giving them the power to deport the illegals they catch -- instead of turning them over to the feds, who immediately set the free and give them Night Flights around the country.
