Nation Braces as Title 42 Ends at Midnight, Without Any Plan B from Biden or Mayorkas to Slow the Human Tidal Wave of Illegal Aliens About to Flood America

babylonbeemayorkas.jpg

Via John Sexton at Hot Air: the government estimates that there are 150,000 people lined up at the border like it's a starting line in a race, ready to rush into America when Title 42 expires at midnight.

And that's just the people already in the starting blocks. There are buses coming up from Central and South America as we speak.

From CNN, which actually admits this:

The federal government estimates more than 150,000 migrants were waiting in shelters and on the streets of northern Mexican states bordering the US this weekend, a source familiar with the estimates told CNN.

That includes 60,000 migrants in the Mexican state of Chihuahua, 35,000 in the state of Tamaulipas and 25,000 in the state of Coahuila, among others, the source said Monday, adding the government estimates hundreds of thousands of migrants were in the "pipeline" in southern Mexico and Central American countries.

Sexton adds:

The beleaguered city of El Paso, which already has more than 1,200 migrants sleeping in the streets, is preparing for even larger numbers of people to be released into their streets. They have no choice but to start busing people to NY City again.

The NY Post:

As thousands of migrants pour across the US border daily, El Paso says it is ready to start busing asylum seekers out -- and New York is set to be a top destination.

The Texas city is straining under the weight of over 1,000 people daily handing themselves over to border agents, with its processing centers oversubscribed and migrants camping out on its streets.

To manage the crisis, city leaders say they have to take action to move along with those who have been given papers and are in the US legally.

"If we start getting 5,000-10,000 people a day, they're not coming to El Paso; they're coming to the United States. Our job will be to continue to help our asylum-seekers get to their next destination," Mayor Oscar Leeser explained Thursday.

"At this point, we're preparing for the unknown," he added.

"The unknown is we don't know how many people are going to be here."

As many as 13,000 migrants a day could cross the border when pandemic-era policy Title 42 ends, according to the state's governor.

El Paso confirmed said this week it has been granted federal funds to enable it to start busing people out of town, and that it will ask migrants what destination they want to head to.

The city previously bused 10,000 migrants to the Big Apple in 2022, which Leeser says was with the blessing of mayor Eric Adams, who even came to the border for a tour.

"I do want to thank Mayor Adams for coming to El Paso and looking at our operations, what we deal with day in and day out," Leeser said, adding: "I do consider Mayor Adams a friend, and I will continue to work with him."

However, leaders in New York are now begging their counterparts in Texas to stop sending asylum seekers.

The city has admitted 60,000 migrants in the last year and still has 37,500 people housed in 122 shelters across the five boroughs, stretching its resources to the limit.

Earlier this week, Adams called Texas's governor Gregg Abbott "racist" for busing some 5,200 migrants to "hurt Black-run cities" of New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia -- even though the mayor of Philly is white.

New York and Chicago are the top two destinations for migrants, according to other organizations that help migrants move from the border further inland.

Eric Adams, who declared New York City to be a proud Sanctuary City, is now
weakening the law giving residents a "right to shelter" -- because the tidal wave of illegal aliens that is about to crash on NYC makes that impossible.

But Republican governors are "racist" for not absorbing the costs of Democrat agenda items.

New York City is temporarily suspending some of the rules related to its longstanding guarantee of shelter to anyone who needs it as officials struggle to find housing for migrants arriving from the southern border.

Under an executive order, the city is suspending rules that require families to be placed in private rooms with bathrooms and kitchens, not in group settings, and that set a nightly deadline for newly arriving families to be placed in shelters.

A spokesman for Mayor Eric Adams confirmed the decision on Wednesday night, saying that the city had "reached our limit" and ended up having to place newly arrived migrants in gyms last week.

"This is not a decision taken lightly," the spokesman, Fabien Levy, said in a statement, "and we will make every effort to get asylum seekers into shelter as quickly as possible, as we have done since Day 1."

Republican governors of border states have been sending buses of asylum seekers to New York and other Democrat-led cities since last spring, but the city's decision came as a federal pandemic-era rule that allowed the government to eject thousands of migrants, known as Title 42, is set to expire Thursday night. City officials have said they expect as many as 1,000 people a day to come after the rule is lifted.

I like how the NYT pretends that it was the 100 or 200 illegal aliens bused in from Texas and Florida that caused the crisis in New York City, rather than the tens of thousands allowed into the country by Biden and Mayorkas.

havetheynotreadthepoemonthestatue.jpg

Speaking of buses: Ron DeSantis is about to sign legislation into law giving him $12 million with which to bus illegal aliens to blue states and cities. As well as authorizing other measures to deter illegal aliens from coming to Florida.

Mexico's president attacks him, apparently unaware that he is a Managed Principal of the Global Corporate Conspiracy.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Monday reportedly ripped Florida's new sweeping immigration bill headed to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis's desk.

López Obrador, while hurling criticism toward DeSantis, also spoke at a press conference Monday ahead of his scheduled call Tuesday with President Biden. The Mexican president and Biden are to discuss immigration and the fentanyl crisis just two days before Title 42 expires.

"Why does [DeSantis] have to take advantage of people's pain, of migrants' pain, of people's need for political gain," López Obrador asked at the press conference Monday, referring to the immigration bill passed by the Florida legislature last week that would, in part, allocate $12 million for DeSantis's migrant relocation program. "This is immoral. This is politicking."

"Now I found out that the Florida governor -- imagine, Florida, which is full of migrants -- is taking repressive, inhumane measures against migrants in Florida because he wants to be a candidate," López Obrador added, according to Politico. "Can't he not make another proposal to convince people?"

Senate Bill 1718 passed in the Republican-controlled Florida state legislature last week and is headed to the governor's desk. For the 2023-2024 fiscal year, the legislation would provide $12 million to the "Division of Emergency Management for the Unauthorized Alien Transport Program."

The initiative drew national attention last year when DeSantis flew a group of South American migrants from Texas to the liberal enclave of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, which had touted broad support for sanctuary policies. Local leadership quickly claimed the wealthy islanders did not have enough resources to support the migrants, who were bussed to a military base in Cape Cod. The move was intended to challenge what Republicans said was Democrats' hypocrisy toward asylum seekers and to protest federal immigration policy under the Biden administration.

The bill would also require hospitals to ask patients about their legal status, mandate medium- and large-sized employers to use the federal E-Verify system to check the legal status of new employees, and allow anyone caught knowingly transporting undocumented migrants to be charged with human trafficking.

The Biden Administration, aware that video of spectacular border rush will absolutely doom not only Biden's "re"-election chances but the chances for any Replacement Leftist to win as well, has made an 11th hour change to the law, pretending that this will dissuade the hundreds of thousands poised to rush the border.

In a major reversal, the Biden administration has resurrected a Trump-era immigration rule before Title 42 is scheduled to sunset -- at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday -- in a desperate attempt to stop the massive surge(s) of illegal aliens who are either already on the Southern Border or making their way to it.

The rule disqualifies illegals from applying for asylum in the U.S. if they failed to first apply for asylum in their countries of origin or other countries they've traveled through, such as Mexico, on the way to the U.S. border. The question is, will the resurrected rule actually be enforced, or is the whole thing simply smoke and mirrors? Yeah, I'm putting my money on "b."

Hundreds of federal asylum officers were reportedly trained on how to enforce the restriction on Tuesday, and the regulation was published on Wednesday. Call me skeptical, but I see a huge red flag:

With the 2024 election cycle approaching, the administration is well aware -- or should be -- that nearly 90 percent of likely voters blame the federal government (Biden and his equally inept administration) for the ongoing crisis. Hence the administration's likely goal is a last-minute attempt to remove the crisis as a 2024 campaign issue.

You see, Biden doesn't want video of a rapid invasion.

He just wants it to be a slow, orderly invasion. Something that won't Waken the Slumbering.

Below, some spinning from Open Borders Czar Alejandro Mayorkas.

Mayorkas is reduced to trying to convince illegal aliens gathering on the border that just because Biden is about to grant them all permanent residency in the US doesn't mean that the border is open: Alejandro Mayorkas: "Let me be clear, the lifting of the Title 42 public health order does not mean our border is open."

Of course it is, and Biden and Mayorkas want it open. What they do not want are eye-catching visuals of streams of illegal aliens bull-rushing past border guards. They want to end America -- but they want to do so without any video running in the media.

He further claimed that Biden's approach has been "effective" at the southern border. Well, there is no doubt the plan is working exactly as intended.

Mayorkas admits that maybe some illegals he refuses to deport will, get this, fail to show up for their scheduled Sham Asylum Hearings and then disappear into the shadows. (Note that disappearing into the shadows is only bad when the left -- and Bush Republicans -- are trying to get us to accept a mass, mass amnesty. When illegals are disappearing into the shadows due to a scheme of deliberate non-enforcement of immigration laws, disappearing into the shadows is kinda nice!)

But, Mayorkas says, don't worry about those handful of illegals who blow off their court dates and disappear into the shadows forever -- it's a "minor" problem, you see. What's another 5-10 million illegal aliens on top of the 30 million already here?

As Mayorkas pleads with his illegal alien invasionary forces to please take it easy and not make it look too bad in the first 48 hours, he still refuses to say we're dealing with a crisis.

JD Vance points out that the housing crisis is largely driven by Biden's acceptance of 5-10 million new Undocumented Americans over two years.

Another clip here.

Heavy gunfire heard at the border. We're a Third World Sh1thole now.
