The Quotes of The Day

Quote I

“My farm is pristine, and I’m not worried one bit because we’re not doing anything to endanger anything. For 20 horses on 150 acres, there’s no way I’m in violation of anything. I don’t believe in bullies and I will never, ever sell to them. They’d be the last person in this world that I’d ever sell my property to.” Lori Brock, the proprietress of Majestic Friesians Horse Farm in Big Rapids

Quote II

“The beauty of bitcoin mining is that it naturally incentivizes renewable energy generation. In many cases, green energy sources — such as solar and wind farms — are only feasible if there is consistent demand for that energy when it is produced.”,”bitcoin miner, Fred Thiel

Quote III

“It seems a bit backward, almost, that we do plastic recycling in order to protect the environment, and then end up increasing a and potentially more harmful problem,” plastics scientist Erina Brown

Quote IV

“When I accepted this speech,” he joked, I didn’t realize how much free time I would have.”
Tucker Carlson

I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier. But it has now. Donald Trump Issued ‘Gag Order’ Over Criminal Trial at Manhattan D.A.’s Request

New York state Judge Juan Merchan hit former President Donald Trump with a gag order on Monday night in the criminal hush money case, ruling the 45th president is restricted from posting about some evidence in the case on social media.

“Judge Juan Merchan largely sided with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg by limiting what Trump can publicly disclose about new evidence from the prosecution before the case goes to trial,” NBC News reported.

Here's one way to get rid of the poor.

Leftist policies start out seemingly reasonable and compassionate before they become totally monstrous. Initially, there are sympathetic test cases, they started out with arguing that raped 12-year-olds should be able to get an abortion, and then before you know, it’s partial-birth abortion for bored celebrities. Euthanasia was supposed to help those with fatal illnesses suffering a great deal of pain. And then, in typical fashion, it morphed into killing teenagers and the depressed.

Where to in the Great North? How about killing the homeless and the poor?

How about another video? Sure why not..................

I wish them well. I wish them success. And I pray that this is the start of lawsuits against criminally negligent DAs and judges.

According to the lawsuit, 35-year-old Justin Flores should have been behind bars on June 14th last year, when Santana and El Monte police Cpl. Michael Paredes were called to the Siesta Inn on a report of a stabbing (the Paredes family is expected to file its own lawsuit against Gascon in the near future). When the officers arrived, Flores allegedly killed both officers before shooting and killing himself with the service pistol belonging to Paredes. At the time Flores was on probation after taking a plea deal for being a felon in possession of a firearm, but the lawsuit claims that Gascon violated state law by refusing to treat the gun possession as a “third strike”, which would have resulted in prison time instead of probation.

When it comes to California, their mantra is, "Hey look, it is only money."

California Defaults On $18.6 Billion In Debt, Saddling Employers With The Expense

California's recent decision not to pay back some $20 billion borrowed from the federal government to cover unemployment benefits during the pandemic will fall on the shoulders of employers, according to experts.

"The state should have taken care of the loans with the COVID money it received from the government in 2021," said Marc Joffe, policy analyst at the Cato Institute—a public policy think tank headquartered in Washington, D.C., in a statement to the Epoch Times

What war on Christianity? Oh let's start here in Oklahoma.

The disgusting Biden administration has sent their HHS goons to a Catholic hospital in Oklahoma, stating the hospital must remove their sanctuary candle or be defunded.

You guys still think there isn’t a war against Christians?

The Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued an ultimatum to a top-rated Catholic hospital network in Oklahoma, threatening to shut down their services to poor and vulnerable patients unless they remove the sanctuary candle from their chapel.

Of course they would do this in the "Sunshine State". If they were so confident in elves and unicorns they would have attempted this in Michigan's Upper Peninsula or North Dakota.

The Norwegian company ENRX wants to inductively charge electric vehicles with 200 kW while driving on a section of highway in Florida. A one-mile section of a four-lane highway near Orlando is to be electrified.

ENRX was founded in March this year, as a merger of EFD Induction, a provider of induction heating solutions, and IPT Technology, an expert in wireless power transmission. ENRX has teamed up with the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) and the Aspire Engineering Research Center for an initiative to build a 1.6-kilometre section on a four-lane highway near Orlando that will inductively charge the batteries of moving electric vehicles at 200 kW.

The principle is clear: the electric vehicle batteries are fitted with a special receiver pad and charged as they drive over the coils embedded in the road. In the process, the energy is transferred from these coils to the receiver pad mounted on the vehicle floor, which according to ENRX should provide “a safe, wireless power supply” even at motorway speeds.

I guess according to this I should be on death's doorstep. If I am at least I am happy with my last addiction.

Is It Time to Quit Coffee for Good?
A growing chorus of concerned former “addicts” are trying to wake people up to caffeine's negative effects.

Petty Officer Second Class Marcus Bivens stood before a panel of U.S. Navy officers, hands cuffed behind his back, facing charges of an unauthorized absence.

For his first fifteen years of service, Bivens had been considered a “squared-away sailor”—orderly, competent, conscientious. A sailor
officers could rely on. But he had been missing work lately, sometimes for weeks at a time, and now he was standing in front of an ad hoc disciplinary tribunal investigating his rapid and seemingly inexplicable decline in job performance. Bivens could no longer physically complete his work tasks, even though it was an administrative job.

Several weeks prior, Bivens was driving home on I-15 from the Coronado naval base in San Diego when his eyesight suddenly went double. “It was terrifying,” he recalls. “I literally drove home with one eye closed.” Bivens made it to his house safely but immediately collapsed into bed, clothes still on, and slept for eleven hours. When he woke up, the double vision was worse.

Oh goody, Mayor Pete ButtPlug with Resident MushHead are looking into requiring airlines to pay up when it comes time for cancellations and flight delays.

President Biden will direct the Transportation Department on Monday to look into whether airlines should pay passengers for flight delays in addition to refunds and other amenities.

At a White House event alongside Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Mr. Biden will formally kick off the rule-making process aimed at addressing inconveniences experienced by passengers because of airline cancellations or significant delays.

The U.S. has no federal laws mandating that airlines compensate passengers for delays. Airlines are only obligated to offer a refund if they cancel a flight.

White Hispanic overreacts when his daughter learns about the birds and bees.

Texas school district hid sexual assault of 6-year-old

Students at a Plainview, TX Elementary School won’t be going to class on Monday. The South Elementary School is being closed temporarily due to teachers claiming to feel threatened.

Why, you might wonder, would they feel that way?

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the School administrators, teachers, and School District officials were covering up the fact that a first-grade student was forced to perform a sexual act on another student IN CLASS and the act was recorded on an iPad.

The iPad was seized, the “inappropriate” recording was viewed by the adults, child services investigated, and the incident was swept under the rug. It wasn’t until the little girl had recurring nightmares and refused to go to school that her parents got involved and began protesting the school.

Nobody had told them what happened to their daughter.

I'm very serious about what I have to say. Had this been my daughter and this had happened to her. I probably would have shot someone.

This poor girl of 6 will be psychologically scarred for life. Hopefully she can overcome this trauma.

As we approach our 29th birthday there is some good news out there. Does sex get better with age? This senior sex therapist thinks so

A lot of people anticipate enjoying their golden years – but what does that look like? Time for hobbies, travel, spoiling your grandkids? What about great sex?

A study published last month in The Gerontologist looks at how well our sexual expectations match up with reality over time.

This story was adapted from the April 30 edition of NPR Health, a newsletter covering the science of healthy living. To get more stories like this delivered to your in-box, click here to subscribe.

As part of the MIDUS (Midlife in the US) study, hundreds of partnered adults ages 45 and up were asked to rate how satisfying they expected their sex lives to be 10 years in the future. Researchers then checked in with the participants a decade later.
