It's not nice to fvck with Mother Nature. The return of Glen Canyon.

There is the crumpling, the mess. A marina that once floated in a cove has been towed out of the shrinking lake and dropped in a field of Russian thistle, its metal pontoons partially sunk into dry, crack-crazed soil. Cooler doors stand open—the marina was once known for its ice cream—and conduits hang from ceilings, wires stripped.

Any restoration might look like this at the start, might exude the strange ugliness of decay. Dangling Rope Marina, the size of a couple of convenience stores, once sold 1.5 million gallons of gas every year, powering the hundreds of boats that, on any given summer day, plied the watery pleasure garden of Lake Powell. Now, its outer doors hang half-open; the interpretive displays bleach in the sun. The official reason for its 2021 closure was “significant wind damage and low water conditions.” The cove it once occupied is disappearing, turning back into land as the lake levels fall. The depth of the surrounding bay has dropped from about 200 feet to 35 feet, and only one of the boat ramps is still operable.

You had one job. How do you accidentally cremate someone?

They took care of my mom really good so I was expecting them to do the same thing with my brother,” Frank Chapman, the brother of Witherspoon said about Corey-Kerlin Funeral Homes & Crematory in Jacksonville.

His family paid more than $2,000 for an hour-long visitation for family and friends. Witherspoon was supposed to be cremated after the fact. Instead, they ended up with more grief.

The funeral home cremated Mr. Witherspoon before the viewing.

I haven't been to a KFC in years. What are my biggest problems, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care.

FRIED AND FINISHED 5 discontinued items from KFC you’ll never see again – and fans are still nostalgic

KFC has had numerous menu changes during its over 70 year history - and many of those changes still do not sit well with longtime fans.

As a child growing up I loved sports. And although I worked at them I didn't have the size, the speed or athletic ability to excel. Oh to be blessed with athletic ability and turn out to be a scuzzy rotten vile despicable worthless piece of shit.

Activist and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick generated controversy following an interview this week in which he accused his white adoptive parents of being "problematic" and perpetuating "racism" in his upbringing. Going unmentioned in Kaepernick's interview was the problematic behavior of the corporate sponsors that have enriched him to the tune of millions of dollars, companies that have been implicated in slavery and child labor in their supply chains.

Speaking of despicable sluts who takes up too much oxygen. Jane Fonda.

Hollywood leftist Jane Fonda is scrambling to walk back her calls to “murder” pro-lifers amid a severe backlash over the remarks.

As Slay News reported, Fonda stated twice during an appearance on “The View” that the solution to the abortion debate was to “murder” Americans who support the pro-life movement.

Fonda made the shocking statement on Friday when she was asked what the appropriate response to legislation restricting access to abortion on demand should be.

She was asked to clarify what she meant but chose to double down and repeat the statement.

The conversation began with Fonda’s claim that, after decades of women in America having access to abortion on demand, she didn’t care what laws were passed or what rulings were overturned.

I forgot Keith Olberman existed. He attempts to remain relevant by starting a Tweet battle with Elon Musk.

One of the people who just can’t seem to deal with it is Keith Olbermann.

I wrote earlier about how Twitter owner Elon Musk had posted a video of Jan. 6 defendant Jacob Chansley urging people to be peaceful and go home outside the Capitol. This appears to have been after he was inside the building. Musk made the point that he hadn’t been violent to anyone, while walking around with the police, plus he urged people to go home. In response, someone painted him as MAGA. Musk said he wasn’t MAGA, but he was concerned about fairness and justice.

That’s when Olbermann lost it. If you can believe it, he appeared to be trying to get Musk suspended from his own platform, claiming Elon was “denying a violent event.”

Bob Dylan was voted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters, marking the first time a rock musician had been chosen for the elite honor society. Officials in the Academy – which recognises music, literature and visual art – were unable to decide if Dylan belonged for his words or his music and instead inducted him as an honorary member like previous honorees Meryl Streep, Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese. via thisdayinmusic.com

Love the ones your with. Genius Award Winners.
MARCH 9--Amid recriminations about a “little dick” and a “stank pussy,” a sexual threesome dissolved into a violent encounter that resulted in the two of the participants--a woman and a man--in handcuffs (but not the fuzzy pink kind).

According to arrest reports, the threesome occurred early Monday at a residence in Marathon in the Florida Keys. The home’s occupants--Steven Lopez, 31, and Angela Vazquez, 20--told police they were in an “open relationship” and had invited Della Draper, 29, over to “have sexual intercourse.”

Lopez said he met Draper while driving for a Marathon taxi service and “gave her his Facebook information.”

Lopez and Vazquez told cops that while the trio was having sex, Draper became “extremely disrespectful,” prompting the couple to request that she leave the residence.

According to Draper, she became upset when Lopez and Vazquez “tried to dominate her sexually inside the house.” Draper told police that she “told Steven he had a ‘little dick’ and his wife had a ‘stank pussy,’” an arrest report notes.

A physical confrontation ensued, with Draper alleging that she was punched, had her hair pulled, and was thrown outside. As she drove away from the home, Draper added, a cinder block was thrown through the rear window of her Nissan Altima
